As much as this match has been painful, frustrating and confusing I just keep thinking it is all down to the injury issues we have. Soyuncu is having a bad game because he is also having to cover for the other centre back who is really a utility player. I think it would be a different kettle of fish if we had an actual centre back playing in defence with Cags and also 11 men.

West ham are not finishing in Top 6 again against a better team they would not get the space like we gave there midfield

3rd and 4th are championship goals to concede. Big man with his back to goal turning onto his favoured foot followed by a ball into the box unchallenged, such naive and weak defending. Said it already but we really cannot deal with teams like this, it's like watching dads play against their kids.

Brendan kept moaning about us not being physical enough. We have spent a fortune and nothing has changed. We're gonna get a few of these games away from home if we don't get a grip. Cannot start with maddison in midfield away against a side like this. Doesn't get involved. If it wasn't for wilf we would be in a right fix.
