If this is a draw and we draw tomorrow night the final games will be mental

Actually scratch that, it's looking mental regardless

I actually can’t work out what the best result is here lol. Surely a draw?

I don't think a draw is much use as it keeps Napoli above us even if we win tomorrow and it keeps Spartak in the hunt, meaning that even if we beat Legia, but then lose to Napoli, only a draw between Legia and Spartak would save us from the Conference League.

I don't buy that if Napoli win this then they might field a weakened team against us. If we beat Legia then Napoli will know that a defeat against us and they will finish second and will have to face an extra round against a CL team. There is no way they would risk that.

They swapped 75% of their starting eleven tonight. Europa League isn’t greatly loved by Italians and the club totally desire the Serie A given the time passed since they last won it.

Fair enough. I think it is simply up to us to pull two decent results out of the bag isn’t it? It looks like Spartak will win tonight which definitely flips the group on its head but it really doesn’t change the fact that we have to win tomorrow and most likely get something in Naples.

I am really frustrated that it’s got to this point to be honest. I would have accepted finishing second as Napoli are evidently a good side but to be worried about qualifying when we know how poor Spartak and Legia are is disappointing.

I don’t know, the chance to skip two tough Europa League is a pretty big plus for their title challenge.

Well I just looked one of the games nearby the knockout round is Inter!

They’ve thankfully got Atalanta before they play us, so a good competitive game there would help.

Napoli have to match AC Milan's results to keep us with them in the league and AC's next few league games are straightforward on paper.

Napoli will definitely rest players against us regardless you'd feel.
