Win tomorrow, avoid defeat in Naples and we are guaranteed to win the group unless we draw and Spartak beat Legia away.

Whatever happens in today's game, a win tomorrow would seal a Top 3 spot and therefore guarantee European football in 2022. However, if Spartak hold on and we win tomorrow, all of a sudden we are in the driving seat to finish top. Still in our own hands, this Napoli team looks average without Osimhen and Insigne.

This is terrible, we are not good at needing results from hostile places. It would be better that Napoli don't really need a win either and we draw that final game or at least stand a better chance of getting one.

I don't see how anyone is seeing this as a good result for us. We were already in a position to win both and finish top. What this result does is make Napoli more desperate to beat us as it removes the option for them of a draw meaning they top the group and we are second. It means for us that a draw is still good enough for second but unless Moscow and Warsaw drew with each other then the winner of that game would over take us. Seems to me it massively increases our chance of finishing 3rd (by beating Warsaw, losing to Napoli and there being a winner in Moscow vs Warsaw) or even 4th by losing or drawing tomorrow.

The amount of fear and negativity on here is astounding. This is the best result we could hope for, Napoli are the danger in this group, if they're wobbling and woozy it's good for us.

There was a very, very real chance that if Napoli won, they'd be fielding a second XI against us.

Both sides only get a point (so cumulative 2 rather than 3) and would mean if we won (big if atm). Then both us and Napoli would likely only need to draw to go through?

Napoli do not look the same without Osimhen, who is out until the new year. They also lost to Inter at the weekend, so maybe they are starting to wobble a bit...
