Napoli, Spartak Moscow & Legia Warsaw

Where will we finish?

  1. 1. Where will we finish

Napoli have been pretty diabolical in this competition, they've conceded the 1st goal in 4 out of 5 games so in that sense the task of getting a result there to qualify and win the group shouldn't be as mammoth a task as you'd think, but surely a team of their evident talent can muster 1 performance to prolong their European campaign in to 2022.

Just got to hope they'd rather do without the distraction but there's a good chance they still end up in some European competition so might as well play in the EL rather than the embarrassment of the Conference League, so we are done for.

Let’s just concentrate on beating Legia. A home win against a team almost propping up the Polish league should surely not be beyond even this out of form Leicester team, and that would not just put us top of the group but guarantee some kind of European football after Christmas.

A win by more than one goal v Legia would also be handy as if we then draw with Napoli and Legia beat Spartak, we will finish in first place above Legia on head to head.

We already have the head to head advantage over Spartak so if we beat Legia, lose to Napoli, and Legia and Spartak draw, we will still finish second.

There are so many permutations but winning tomorrow is paramount.

I am really frustrated that it’s got to this point to be honest. I would have accepted finishing second as Napoli are evidently a good side but to be worried about qualifying when we know how poor Spartak and Legia are is disappointing.

The "poor" Spartak beat the "good side" Napoli TWICE...

Regardless of paper form, anything can (and often do) happen.

Win tomorrow and a point gets us through in Napoli

Would rather finish top though to avoid the extra game against a CL dropout in Feb.

In which case win tomorrow (a must anyway) and then if we draw in Naples, only a draw between Spartak & Legia would see us top.

I know it's seldom as simple as winning a couple of games to turn what seems like a juggernaut of a slump but win these 2 remaining games and what that would do for the confidence and character of this team would be unbelievable and just maybe they could turn this around.

It feels like it needs something so gargantuan in order for us to do so, just mildly improving and steadily step that improvement up doesn't feel very Leicester or what this team would do.

Stunned at that result. European football is simply unpredictable with the long trips to cold countries. Fair play to them!

This group can be won by anyone but theres a good chance  now that its us or napoli and not both

Would not be at all surprised to see us draw and leave us needing a win in the final game.

That can’t be real babajahahah. I hope it is, though. lol

I honestly don't mind if he did or not, it's too funny (and too true) not to laugh at.

We need to hire Spartak Moscows SoMe team. They are doing some fantastic work.

This group is nuts. And we should just have stepped it up a little bit and we would have been easily through. Expect and want a performance tomorrow.
