There's a house on A47  in LFE that already has Xmas decorations in the window !

I saw that last weekend, in the upstairs dormer window!

Had noticed that Home Alone was on some channel on Freeview last week.

Edit: Makes you feel quite old seeing that MacAuley Culkin is 41-years-old..

Me too, a couple of the best parts of Christmas.

A few years ago my now husband and I were staying near St. Pancras ready to get the Eurostar to Paris the next morning, in the middle of December. We went out for dinner and then found ourselves in a little pub, it was open mic night, the Lincoln Arms I think it was called.

Someone sang Fairytale of New York and it was was amazing, a proper memory of a great night. Funny how the really small things stay with you!

Mind you, the hangover on the early morning train the next day wasn't nearly so great lol

It gets crazier every year. One of my mates has put his tree up already but get this, he's not put it up for this year, he's put it up ready for next years Christmas! A whole 15 months early. Bonkers.

They've been there all year lol. I did a double take walking down that road about 3 months ago wondering why there was a reindeer in the window.

It's a proper big house too!

He'll have to take his tree down again for a few days this coming December. Otherwise, he might get confused and accidentally celebrate Christmas this year, too.

Quite common in the pub trade to have at least a small Xmas display up as early as July.

Get the advance bookings in for office parties and stuff.

Any other reason aside from that can get in the bin though.

Xmas tree goes up the weekend after my birthday in our house, end of Nov/start of Dec. Any earlier would be ridiculous.
