I’m pretty sure most clubs have a committee (DOF, scouts, manager etc) when it comes to buying new players with managers having an influence as to the types of player they require. Lookman is getting more game time now. Bertrand and Vestegaard are being played out of necessity with injuries. Considering how the fan base reacts with Soumare and Daka on a game by game basis I’m not surprised they’re getting more game time as there evidently seems a bit of bedding in that’s required (like Soyuncu). We may not see the benefits of these guys until the mid/latter stages of the season. Unfortunately every player is different and we can’t just expect them to be sh*thot feo day 1.
