If we continue to concede 2 goals a game most games then we're going to be in a relegation fight. The summer signings simply either aren't good enough or aren't getting a chance. The defence is an utter shambles and our midfield non existent at times. Vardy is basically the difference between a few points and no points.

In terms of general play it was an absolute pasting. We were given a chance by poor mistakes and individual quality but otherwise we were never in the game. Can’t pass a ball, can’t defend, don’t look like a team, it’s grim and we know this group and manager are weak-minded from the last two seasons so it looks difficult to see it changing.

I’d say having Ndidi and Tielemans in a center 2 is a big difference, but as I said I thought Hamza played really well.

I think Barnes is one of the most talented players around, not just in Leicester but anywhere. It seems to be a mentality thing with him. I feel he lacks belief in his ability sometimes. It's a hard one to judge. I have to admit I'm having some doubts for the first time.

It’s scary how easy we concede goals now. Literally cannot hold onto a lead for the life of us. 
 

Worrying times especially with Ndidi out for a while. Our strongest players, excluding Vardy and Nacho, are not performing and injuries in key areas, looks like it’s going to be one hell of a grind this season.

 

We are desperate for Evans to be match fit again because we are all over the place defensively. Fingers crossed Soumare comes in and cements himself in whilst Ndidi is out.

Fact of the matter is we've thrown away two points. Soft underbelly there for all to see yet again. Resources we could only dream of a few years ago and we've taken 8 point from 7 games. 

 

I can take being shit but I can't take sustained chronic underperformance.

The midfield was a much bigger problem than the defence today. Palace were basically playing the entire game in front of our back 4 who had to crack eventually with the relentless pressure while the midfield was nowhere.

having said that the subs cost us the game. I understand going in with the plan to take Hamza off after 60 since he hasn’t played, but I didn’t see any indication he was slowing down. For me he kept us in the game til Nacho scored. 

Did you actually watch Hamza, constantly gave the ball away, mainly walked around, didn’t try to make angles for passes to him, let players run off him, Hamza was a liability and shouldn’t have even made it into the second half

Deserved nothing from that. I want Brendan to succeed but looks as though he's lost the plot. Players look clueless, his tactics are baffling... Something is rotten behind the scenes.
