Vestergaard v Ronaldo

They're not in great form either but they're still doing better than we are.

I think we might show up for this one oddly enough.  The pressure whilst on us to a degree, is more for them because this year Ole really needs to deliver.

Ronaldo whilst great, isn't the player he was.

If Rodgers can't get them out the traps at 100mph for this game, he probably can't anymore.

5-3 win after going 2-0 and 3-1 down.

Vardy with 4 assists and a goal.

Maguire sent off after bringing down Vardy for a penalty.

..... Then I switched off FIFA 22 and went to bed.

Do we know what's up with him, is he ill or injured?

Sounded like he was ill rather than the issue with his foot from the way it was said

"He wasn't well enough to travel so we've kept him behind and we'll see how he is for the weekend."

No, not really. The lack of access the Club gives to local journalists these days is a bit sad. I know we don't have a 'right' to know stuff, but would it be harmful if the manager occasionally gave a proper one on one interview to one of the local guys? Anyway, I presume Jonny won't be off with NI for the next two weeks, and let's hope the old boy is rearing to go a week on Saturday.

A bit of perspective……beat these & we’re 3 pts behind them.
l’m confident of a draw. The international break has come at a nice time (even though l don’t like ‘em !)

Perhaps he's one of the unvax'd and gone down with nasty bout of covid.

Club has gone into hermit mode this season - distancing itself in a number of areas from its fans. Want to come across as more professional and we are coming across as soulless and so regular. Nothing fresh or exciting off the pitch followed by some pretty crappy performances on the pitch

Will Justin be back for this? Or is it wishful thinking. Can’t see us getting anything from this.

No, I don't think so. If the timeline quoted most recently by Brendan is accurate he is now about 3 weeks away from being available. Be great if he were able to play for some of the Brighton League Cup game towards the end of the month. He's not in the Europa squad, but is in the PL squad. Can't wait to see him bombing up the left flank like he did last season. Here's hoping

If the same defence starts, we will get torn a new arsehole. Vestergard is garbage and cags has turned into a liability when next to him.

Play our stupid, dangerous sideways football in our own box and they will punish us. We go at them or we lose.

Who would you suggest we play instead?

Amartey and Benkovic?

Unvaxxed or vaxxed, he’ll need to isolate. Will explain why he’s not watching from the sidelines. I’d put my money on Covid.
