We'll get Athletico Madrid again. Just you wait and see.

Don’t think we’ve ever played them

On Saturday. Not at a Bowls club thankfully. On Soccer AM which isn't quite as bad lol

Arsenal

Chelsea

Sunderland

Tottenham Hotspur

Leicester City

Liverpool

Brentford

West Ham United

Obvious draw preference is Sunderland at home.

Bring on the Sunderland & Arsenal, bring on the Scousers by the score......

Every year the quarters come around early in the season and every year I can't believe it's already the quarters.

It's not even Halloween, how on earth can it be the draw for the quarters!

I know people knock this competition, but it's still hard to win when you look at the strength of that QF like up.

It also gives teams their best chance to win a trophy who might not normally get the opportunity: like Brentford, West Ham or Spurs

I was with you until the last word of your post lol

When people say they want to draw the big boys in Europe rather than minnows, I wince.

I want the simplest draw.

Same goes for this competition.

I want to win it, Vardy to complete the set!

The ' playing the big boys' thing is just a small club mentality thing. Ooh, a trip to camp nou.... I would rather play them on a neutral venue in the final. You might even get the odd ref decision go your way!

This goes back to our small club mentality  and when we were sh2t.

Now WE are one of the giants of English football and small clubs like Notts Forest dream of playing us!!!

If we get an away tie. I'd take Liverpool as I have holiday to use up. May just stay from the Everton game until the cup tie.

That or Arsenal or Spurs away as the boy is off school that week so a London midweek would be good for a day out.

But obviously Sunderland at home would be preferable to all of the the other sides.

A  5 in 7 chance of a London club.  Over 50% chance of a team in red.

If I have misunderstood the laws of probability correctly, we will be playing Arsenal or Brentford.

That's FA Cup. It's 10% in this one so it would be the nomal 3,300 odd allocation.

Oh right, I guess the larger away allocations we've given for the league cup before are purely because of the lower demand in the home end.

Possibly. I think the club may rather sell all tickets than leave empty seats. They might do the same if it is someone like Sunderland but I think for a QF we would sell out whoever we play.

Sunderland at home is the obvious preferred draw. But as long as we avoid West Ham given our recent record against them I’d be happy.
