On Saturday. Not at a Bowls club thankfully. On Soccer AM which isn't quite as bad lol

Arsenal

Chelsea

Sunderland

Tottenham Hotspur

Leicester City

Liverpool

Brentford

West Ham United

Obvious draw preference is Sunderland at home.

Now Man City are out we should have a pop at this competition. Not saying we should play our full 1st 11 but I'd prefer a stronger side than we had out tonight. Think we could beat anyone left in. West Ham and Chelsea will be toughest as west ham seem to field a pretty strong team and Chelsea have ridiculous squad depth. The Liverpool team tonight didn't seem very strong.

Just the big boys plus Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham, Brentford and Sunderland left.

I know people knock this competition, but it's still hard to win when you look at the strength of that QF like up.

It also gives teams their best chance to win a trophy who might not normally get the opportunity: like Brentford, West Ham or Spurs

Mad Martin would always go full on at this stage and prioritise the competition with full strength teams. However, a couple of extra places up the Premier League is worth a lot more (financially at least).

Yeh absolutely but silverware is silverware. Be good if we could give Justin a game depending on when the next round is/how close he is to a return

You think Liverpool won't play a stronger side now they're in the quarter finals?

Probably not. Especially when the next round is.

Looking at the choices i’m not too fussed, although Sunderland is obviously the easiest.

Personally wouldn’t mind Spurs at home, as would make the win even better but it would be 10x worse if we lost.
