Simply awful. The lack of effort or quality on show was appalling. Beginning to look like the dressing room has gone toxic. Been crap for too long now, Watford is an absolute must win.

that was quite bad , wasnt it. we didnt even try to give them a game, i dont know what rogers is thinking these days but we looked like we just got promoted and were trying to show them respect, like we dont have the ability to give them a game. its too negative and something has to change soon

Biggest post match interview since his appointment coming up imo! 

 

He needs to start answering serious questions and calling out the players if they aren't doing what he's instructing.

Brendan can't surely dress this up and say "I thought we kept the ball well (at the back), we never gave up, delighted with the effort, we competed, we haven't got a problem with set pieces, they are a very good side". If he does I have lost my faith in the guy.

No excuses, slightly better second half but we were never in it. 

 

Tbf Chelsea are the best team in the league by a mile. They won 99% of the 50/50 balls, that's not down to formations it's just they are better players.

Pathetic, clueless football again. What a terrible season this has been so far. Could be sat in 14th by 5pm and face an uphill battle to even get out of the group in Europe. Let’s stop make excuses too, we have been unlucky with injuries but that does not provide an explanation as to why we have been spineless in every department of the pitch. I have backed Rodgers for ages now but I have lost faith completely - this feels like the end to me. We could actually sleepwalk into a relegation battle here, make no mistake, this is as bad as I’ve seen us since being promoted.

Has to be said that this Chelsea squad is different class, all over the pitch. I don't think we have anyone who gets in their side, not even Tielemans. They know how to play this formation when we clearly don't. 

 

In isolation you can say we were beaten by the better team but we all know it isn't in isolation. 

 

I can't be arsed going into the negatives with us, think shit basically covers it. Worry thing for is I don't think Rodgers can accept that these players aren't currently good enough to play his vision and he isn't willing to adapt to play a more traditional and simple way. 

 

These next 2 games are huge for me. Need to show something, otherwise I can't see a way back.

I don't think anyone really has a problem with losing. The manner of the defeat is the issue. We have signed some wretched players in the summer. Has all the hallmarks of the season after the title win.

 

The players do not seem to be buying in to the Rodgers way anymore. There was such a lack of fight today. I would love him to turn it round but I just can't see it. 

 

Time for a change I think.

Better players who are also motivated. 50/50s have so much to do with the latter. We have zero.
