I would probably go for something like this. Ultimately, these are professional athletes so there is no reason they can't handle these game in quick succession besides some of the older more vulnerable players. Obviously there is risk of injury too but you have to weigh up risk vs reward and i am not sure we have the depth of quality to be able to change the squad too much and still beat Southampton (I did toy with the thought of Choudhury replacing either Ndidi as to not risk him - or - Soumare just because he's been a bit sh1t)

I'd rather risk an injury to Thomas or Soyunchu than let Bertrand or Vestergaard anywhere near the line up.

Southampton will be dangerous, especially with our lack of defensive ability, so i really don't feel we can make too many changes. Maddison, on his current form, is absolutely game changing however he's just the kind of player that would pick up an injury, just from his style of play, and i think he would be a bigger miss against Villa / Napoli.

I might take some pelters for this but KDH has done nothing to suggest he's a good enough 10 to be starting there for us in the Prem.

If that's the team then Perez needs to be there or Nacho.

I am a fan of KDH, but I wouldn't play him as a 10!

I would definitely stick with Kasper in goal. Who is Clicktoedit anyway?

He's been rotting in the under 23s needs some loan time in league 2 at the very least before he plays for the first team.

Some very promising keepers coming out of Finland though to be fair...

I like this but I think we should probably play a goal keeper too?

9-0 or Rodgers out. And for god sake do not play Bertrand or Vestergaard. Unless Southampton fancy giving them a game.

If Jannick scores we're on the pitch

If Bertrand scores we're on the pitch

(and repeat)

I'd have Perez in the number 10 role ahead of KDH atm, KDH has plenty of energy and is happy to spray it around, but hasn't been outstanding so far and reminds me of more of a Drinkwater than a Maddison. Ayo has put in some good performances at 10 recently, seems to enjoy Soton and has that technical ability to operate in that hole in behind the 2 strikers. All else fails we have Madders to turn to if its not working, but I could still see Rodgers starting him for this game

It would be interesting to see what Rodgers does here because I'm sure he would like to build momentum with the same team. I think he will start Vardy but that means there is little chance of him starting in Naples. Maddison should continue to build form. Evans is a worry too

I think we will go same team and hope for the best.

Armstrog is the sort of forward we really struggle against and actually, anyone capable of kicking a football

I agree, that's why i wish we kept praet, but since it is what it is and tielemans is injured through him into the fire as an 8, soumare and ndidi are too defensive against Southampton

You could have corrected my 'Armstrog' typo while you were doing it.

I'd go

Kasper

Castagne Evans soyuncu Thomas

Ndidi kdh

Albrighton Maddison Barnes

Vardy

I don't think Albrighton offers us enough anymore to start out wide. His legs have gone.
