We become the Sevilla of the conference league.

If you win the ECL, does that put you in the EL, meaning we fail at the EL for

five more straight years?? 😢

Me too after recent weeks and a heart attack.

Sorry to hear that.  Hope all is on the mend. :)

Are you sure that watching City these days is appropriate for your rest and rehabilitation ?

If we can stay in the Prem we might have a shithot academy-based team making shed loads of cash. That’d be my dream. But maybe we’ll get a new manager and pull things around to challenge for European football again.

Thanks. Getting there though feeling a bit low this evening. Definitely not recommended sadly at the moment is it?

Sadly championship.
Spine of the side is too old. Keeper 34, best defender Evans 34, best of all time forward Vardy 34. Tielemans going in the summer imo Ndidi will follow. So wanted Rodgers to turn it around but can’t see it.

I know its borderline reactionary but where do you think we'll be in 5 years time?

At the start of the season I would have guessed a regular top 10 team that would dip in and out of the top 6 and maybe top 4. Now I'm thinking we'll lose our best players soon and not have the ability to replace them and will end up as a glorified Southampton; not crap enough to get relegated but not good enough to challenge for europe.

It would take a lot of bad outcomes in a row to see us relegated in the next few years but obviously not impossible.

Vardy comes off the bench to score the winner as we secure promotion from Division 1.

Can't look that far forward. Staying up this season has never been more vital given the proposed infrastructure upgrade. It has to happen.

There’s zero chance of Leicester being relegated this season… Let’s be honest here.

Top half finish

in the championship.

No but in all seriousness we are entering a key phase now, massive players for us over the last few years will be out of contract over the next 2 seasons, Vardy will be done by then, Kasper may be gone too. There’s going to be huge change. If it’s done well, we can stay roughly where we are - a top half Prem team. If we balls it up the only way is down from where we have been the last few years.

As a cardiologist *, for patients following a cardiac event, I recommend switching to a 100% saturated fats diet, as safer for the heart than watching Leicester City play.

* (not really)

That said, I hope you come back strong!

And you join us here at the Big Blue Blister in Leicester, sponsored by Asda, as Leicester City kick off their defence of their Champions League title.

Brendan Rodgers has been in the hot seat for 8 years, now.  He had a rough patch 5 years ago, and would you believe that there were some fans calling for him to go (Wow. I know), but the club turned it around for a miracle second half of the season after the club took the decision to swap the Kop and the Family Stand.

Joint Prime Ministers Ant n Dec are in the stands, and many of the fans have come direct from the large Cannabis Café on Welford Road, with a gentle but hungry disposition, after the 'bis was legalised in 2023 under interim Prime Minister, the late and much missed Richard Madeley.

Anyway, it's on with the match.

AND IT'S LIVE....

Thanks very much. Starting the saturated fat diet tomorrow. 😏

I really really hope we don’t become a very average Everton floating around the top half. Continually frustrating their fans. Winning nothing and making disappointing signings year after year

It's probably safer for Cadno'r to smoke 10 Bensons, do a few lines and get a lapdance than it is to watch City defend corners.
