Evans should be fine as he was in line for a start at Everton. As you say, it will have been 10 days since our last game so most players isolating should be back, at least training. Could be Amartey and Wilf at the back to then. Liverpool will rotate going by Klopps moaning yesterday
Popular Post Jobyfox Posted 20 December 2021 Popular Post Posted 20 December 2021 Are Bertrand, Benkovic and Vestergaard all back fit for this one? If so, I’d go with a back four of: Thomas, Evans, Amartey and Castagne 3 48
eastendfox Posted 20 December 2021 Posted 20 December 2021 Play those who need a game because they were isolating first and foremost. Liverpool unlikely to play too many first teamers.

I'd have sooner gone for this than the Spurs/Everton games as our league campaign is essentially dead in the water already anyway. The fact we've been forced to is a blessing in disguise. With it being so very tight, points wise, covering 10/12 places from 4th down I'd say our league campaign is very far from dead in the water.
Ric Flair Posted 20 December 2021 Posted 20 December 2021 What's the equivalent of a knitted v neck sleeveless jumper for Christmas off yer Nan? Vestergaard being the only available centre half for the entire Xmas period. 2

Our best route back into Europe of any form this season is the conference league or this. The gap is likely to have grown by the new year. Dead in the water perhaps not, but I'd prioritise cups at this point. 4

This can help us attract players, gain some glory hunting fans abroad and help the coffers long term. Not saying prioritise over the Conference but there is no need to have to prioritise at this stage. We can go for both and see where we get. We are two rounds from the final. Go for it. Id like to win the league cup this season, then Vardy and Kasper will have completed the domestic set with us - Premier League title, Fa Cup, and League cup winners 5

blurryface Posted 20 December 2021 Author Posted 20 December 2021 Win on weds, 1 game away from Wembley 4th time within 12 months. Going to use the covid buzzwords. Unprecedented times. 1

Sly Posted 21 December 2021 Posted 21 December 2021 If you’re Rodgers or Klopp, do you play a stronger team, knowing that the games on Boxing Day, might be cancelled anyway? Why we need a two leg semi final is a joke as well. Just play it at a semi neutral venue if it reduces the games.

I personally feel with 22 games left in the league and massive players returning in the New Year top 7 is possible still! Deffo go for the cups big time though! 1
KrefelderFox666 Posted 21 December 2021 Posted 21 December 2021 Is there a press conference today? On the BBC website it lists all the other teams playing tomorrow as having one but not us which seems strange.

Liverpool press conference at noon - hopefully that is a good sign that this will go ahead No idea when ours is though.
