Got to take some of the positives going forward into the next game. Bin off Vestergaard and Albrighton (as a full back) for Wilf and Castagne to make us a stronger at the back and go for the fkers

Damage was obviously done in the first half. But pleased with the response and really, we went toe to toe with them. They only had one more shot than us. Considering the starting 11 and the injuries it was pleasing to see us come out and have a go. Maddison fantastic. Yep we’ve lost but something to take into the next game.

I was 100% expecting a record-breaking victory for Man City given it was 4-0 after 25mins.

To score 3 shows a good reaction but then the lack of adequate defending kills us once again. Two silly goals from corners, two silly penalties given away, and I think just quality showed on the day over our depleted squad.

It's still not good enough but purely on a basic level, I didn't expect a win or any points, and it ended up like that. We scored 3 decent goals going forward - Maddison and iheanacho deserve a decent amount of credit.

Two brain fart pens conceded and two goals from all at sea corners.

All in all not too bad for a sticky plaster  team selection.

How the hell is Pep going to justify that?

Justify what, winning; to be fair his pre match comments about the Foxes were complementary, I'm sure he will just say I told you Leicester are a threat blah, blah, blah.

Didn't watch it but how can a team be THIS bad at defending, especially at set pieces? As a manager/coach, you'd not sleep until it was fixed, surely? Has BR not slept for about 300 days?

"take some positives" another horrible phrase particularly when you've just been stuffed.

Another game goes by when the tactics and selection for the first half get put right in the second. Happens far too often. That looked like carnage after 45 so we have to be pleased for small mercies.

Our reserves gave the title favourites a decent game. Move on.

Exactly this, yes it wasn't ideal, yes we conceded set pieces again, but just look at that team. We expected 10-0. Instead we fought and almost got back into the game. On paper that team is almost championship standard. All those talking about sacking BR after that need to chose another team to support. They are one of the best teams in the world at the moment and we gave them a scare. Just look at our back 4, one who usually plays in midfield, another who's maybe our 5th choice CB, an academy young'en, and a player who epitomises the phrase "Jack of all trades, master of none"

Probably would have taken  a battling defeat before the game and definitely would have taken one at half time. Patched up team and gave it ago second half. They got a slight helping hand from the ref too which they obviously didn't need.
