Harry Potter was a massive part of my childhood, my teen years, and even still now

 

Getting the books on release day and not putting them down until I had finished them, going to watch the films release day in the cinema (I skipped my last day of a school year to go watch Deathly Hallows Part 2), and even now I still listen to the audiobooks and marathon the films a couple of times every year

 

This bit from the Harry Potter Reunion hits ever harder now :(

Possibly You’d remember Kevin Turvey (Rik Mayall) Robbie Coltrane was in a 50 minute special as “Mick” Kevin’s step dad, very funny and it’s so sad that we no longer have either Rik or Robbie with us.

Makes me feel old.

"An Iranian hermit nicknamed the “world’s dirtiest man” for not taking a shower for more than half a century has died at the healthy old age of 94. Haji, covered in soot and living in a cinder-block shack, was reported not to have bathed with water or soap in more than 60 years. In 2014, the Tehran Times reported that Haji would eat roadkill, smoke a pipe filled with animal excrement, and believed that cleanliness would make him ill".

 

If he died a few months after his first wash, he was clearly right in his belief that cleanliness would make him ill.

I'd sooner die at 40 and not have to smoke animal poo
