RIP actor Frank Williams, who played Rev Timothy Farthing in Dad's Army, passed away on Sunday 26th June.

The BBC don't seem to have put anything on their website which is a surprise.

Is Ian Lavender the sole remaining actor still with us from Dad's Army?

Fair point but he has been on my lists since 2019. If I was taking this far too seriously and was researching next years list 6 months in advance I’d already be looking at:

1. Mutulu Shakur (Tupac’s stepdad)

2. Frank Field MP

3. Deborah James (You, Me & The Big C)

4. Graham Thorpe

5. Steve McMichael (‘86 Bears/WWE)

But I’m not obviously…

FFS.

She did such a huge amount of good while terminally ill. Bless her.

A true legend; RIP.

(Thought for a second that it was one of the dragons with the same name who used to be on Dragons' Den.)

Wasn't he one of those who was always hanging around the Playboy Mansion? He won't be in the ground before the #metoo stuff starts.

Sports commentator John Gwynne has passed aged 77 after his recent battle with cancer.

Very distinctive voice on Soccer Saturday and the darts.
