He is better yes, still believe he is massively overrated though, plus the fact he is an enormous bellend.

He'd be useless for us. 

 

Puel tried the same thing Cooper is currently doing and Chilwell was terrible. 

 

We need a technical, creative player to play in that position. 

 

Ironically, one of the first players we were linked to last year was a left back of exactly this type, before everyone realised Enzo didn't play typical full backs. Ryan Giles. Turns out he wasn't good enough for the Prem anyway but that's the profile we'd want. 

 

Hence people's obsession with Doughty. 

 

Chilwell is a great athlete but he's not much better a technician than VK to be quite honest.

The new LB/LWB simply has to be more dynamic in certain areas. 
 

1. More of a threat in the final third

2. Decent crosser

3. Able to be a ball carrier with the ability to dribble and beat a man

Might have ? If he can play football slightly better than Sunday league standard then he'd certainly have been better than Okoli. League one at best
