Linked with Joao Rego, loan w option to buy. Can play anywhere across the front line and Portugueses news reporting that he may be available for loan 2 weeks ago.

Makes sense as we need cover for when Ayew, Bilal and Fatawu go to afcon next year.

20 years old, played for them a few times and good on FM. Would be decent

Nypan going to Mboro on loan from Man City is a real kick in the ****. He’d do well in Marti’s system with these wide number 8 positions he likes.

I can't ignore this you know. Got a manager with extensive experience in Scandinavian leagues and also a fellow compatriot of the manager of Man City, both idols of Johan Cruyff. We are crying out for a left footed attacking midfielder (a transfer target as reported by Tom Collomosse) and he's going Middlesborough? Not having it.

Instead of trying to force Skipp into the role which clearly isn’t suiting him, hence the change in shape against Sheff Wednesday, we could have utilised a player perfect for the role. Mind boggles with us as always.

I might have to unfollow John Percy. Just depressing reading Forest splashing the cash and we can’t even get a loan in.

To be fair they are doing absolutely terrible business

They were 15th for xG last season, only the bottom 3, Everton, and Wolves created less

They then sold their most creative player who led the team in both assists and xA

They have now signed or rumoured to be signing 4 attacking players, none of which have any history of being particularly creative

Ndoye has 13 assists in 102.4 equivalent 90 minute games

Hutchinson 6 in 53.3 including only 4 in the Championship when they put up 90+ points

Mcatee 6 in 45.4

Kalimuendo 10 in 111.3

MGW is basically the only creative players in the squad

Described as "the new Kanté", apparently. I know little to nothing about him, but cursory glances look good...and too good for us if those other teams are in with a shot lol

We really do need a box-to-box, high energy player, which I believe he is.

Curiously he hasn't played in any of Lorient's friendlies this pre-season, which might suggest he is off? Can't see that he's been injured.

Mentioned him the other week, would be perfect for the ‘8’ role.

But as Bournemouth have a connection with Lorient, he’ll probably go there.

Think we'd be bottom of the lists out of the four mentioned clubs.

Does anyone have an vague understanding of where we are placed in terms of buying anyone? Are we likely to bring anyone in? I presume someone fully up to speed on PSR might be able to make an educated guess?

Don't understand why we arent brining in 2 or 3 decent loan options, surely a loan striker is a must, there has to be a PL option out there, we have great facilities, or is the loan fee a step too far? Is top spending nothing

I can confirm that nobody on this forum has the first idea.  It is all guesswork.  People have attempted to do various PSR calculations but it is all complete conjecture.  The other variable is whether KP want to put any money in, they may not.

I'm afraid we'll just have to wait and see, but it doesn't look good at this moment in time.

We probably are working on loans, there's been a few rumours, but sometimes you have a long wait while the parent club makes changes to their squad first.  I only really want loans with options to go permanent, which is why I'm not arsed about clubs signing the likes of Nypan.
