Yes but the crazy thing is three good signings and everyone is lifted.  If we can't achieve that then imo the issue isn't PSR, it's an ownership that just don't want to spend now, or can't.

All the positivity has been sucked out from the club, board, players and the fans are destroying the club,. It’s hard to see any light and end of the tunnel. I just want a quite season or two bedding our talented youth academy players, but fear that this toxic environment we are currently in won’t help them develop, and we will waste that opportunity too!

Can’t see Monga or Nelson hanging around after this season regardless of where we finish

I do think the fans have been let down for the past 5 years and it has caused a pressure cooker effect this season and people have just had enough, there is only so much you can poke the bear until it reacts

It's the perfect example where the lack of communication by the football side of the club fans the flames. 

 

It would have took a statement or interview whereby the club describe the difficulties of PSR, prioritising of what we've got and developing the youth. Rather say nothing, let speculation develop. 

 

Despite all their errors, they have never even attempted to create a siege mentality or be front foot against authorities.

So true, where there is a void fans naturally fill it with speculation and, given recent history, tend to fear the worst.  It is such an easy win for the club but - nothing.

Really well said.

 

I say something similar on Blue Tinted Glasses frequently along the same lines. With all the good will that had been built up with the league and cup win, had the ownership come out and said something like "we pushed too hard, it caught up with us and now we are in a tough situation, but we are determined to turn things around", many people would get behind them. But a weakly worded statement in the prgram notes after months of non communication just doesn't cut it. 

 

For me even if the current situation is bleak, it's not the thing that I am most upset about. It's actually the utter disdain the club treats it's own fans with that gets me.

It goes back to a couple of seasons ago when Top and the ownership struggled to accept the criticism that came their way. It stung and from their reaction seemed to come as a surprise given what the club has been through, clearly losing contact with supporters who they believed were grateful and in awe of everything they do. Perhaps the first time the owner had ever received negative feedback. It wasn't taken well and the result has been a PR disaster. No communication will be the downfall of King Power and LCFC. It's probably already too late for some but it can't go on like this.

Since the 22/23 season (7 windows later), we've had 3 genuinely good signings - Fatawu, Hermansen, BEK. Somewhat ambitious to hope for three in the space of two weeks.

Just listened to some Pubcast and he says on there he thinks King Power are cutting off all revenue and we're going to sell all we can just to get in the black, I said similar to this sometime a go, ive no idea why Top doesnt just get rid or is it hes trying to claw money back hes spent before moving it on

King Power, LCFC, are no different to anyone else in the whole wild world….if you haven’t got the Money you can’t spend it…..and hours spent on here saying sign this, don’t sign that, sell this don’t sell that is mind boggling….nobody on here has a scooby about what will,won’t happen….only one thing is certain to happen….nothing will change unless the manager and players make it so…..despite drawing and losing, we could have won both those games, we didn’t…..back to you managers and players…..

Yeah the radio silence from the club shows exactly what they think of the "fans". We're treated as customers and nothing else
