It's all well and good having a clearout but you need to be bringing bodies in too.

Impossible for Marti to build any momentum or organisation if he doesn't know who is going to be here on a game by game basis.

First month of the Championship is all about scraping through, I think we've been given the best set of fixtures to try and do that.


It's shit but there's loads of clubs the same, namely Ipswich (i'm aware they're more actively reinvesting but still causes the same issues)

 

You can go from 20th to the play offs from about February/March in this league lol

This. People (rightly) want to drop a bomb on this squad, but without any sign of us wanting to replace the numbers they want to lose.

I’d only sell if we can get a good fee, he’s a good squad member to have, fights and is always fit despite being limited. 
 

Many others I’d rather go

Reality is he is another who has been here a long time without really kicking on, again wouldn’t be first on my list to get rid of but at least we are now seemingly progressing with moving a few on and hopefully creating some funds and headroom to start bringing in some fresh blood. 
 

Really need Faes, Soumare, Winks, Vesty, Daka and VK gone as well, can’t afford to carry any players who clearly don’t want to be here.

Yeah, if this happens then surely we have some players coming in. This would leave us with three central midfielders at the club over the age of 16, two of them being Skipp and Soumare. That would be completely reckless.
