I’d look past his output tbh mate. Some of his creative and defensive numbers at both Standard Liege and West Brom were excellent last season. A player that is capable of picking a pass, while also chipping in with defensive work. 
 

A work in progress, but definitely a player worth tracking.

There are ten days of the transfer window left and we’ve always known that players would have to depart before we brought new ones in. There will be incomings - just not as many as we’d like and very late in the window.

I'm not entirely sure where people still get this faith from.

 

Couple of weeks ago I'd have agreed but how we've typically done our business, even when we're tight, is wait to sell but then reinvest some of it.

 

We know that as a club we can pick up decent talent for this league in the 5 - 7 bracket and be happy, we could have spent some of the money we made from clearing out the few so far. The fact we haven't, I really do think something is going on with our finances outside of the "norm" for us.

 

I wouldn't be surprised at all if all we get is one, two at most, loans and I still wouldn't be surprised if it's actually nothing at all.

Completely agree. Proven time and time again that Rudders and Co are incapable of negotiating more than one deal at a time whether that be IN or OUT. We'll lose Bilal and get someone in on deadline day.

 

Our incomings the past two windows combined are Begovic and Woyo hahahahahhah! Wake the F up guys.

The club will rebuild the confidence and morale of the fans by bringing in a couple of loans on deadline day, with those being a new 4th choice right back from Angola and 5th choice centre back from Lithuania.

Don't think this lack of activity is down to Rudkins incompetence this time. He is following instructions.  Couple of crappy loans at best, although Marti did say he'd look to the existing squad first  then the academy before looking to bring anyone in, which is exactly what we seem to be doing.

Optimistic view is it could be a 3 year plan to clear out the dead-wood, bring on the youngsters, clear the PSR stranglehold once and for all and only then try for PL.

Pessimistic view is we are being asset stripped prior to sale, all to save Tops personal fortune, while KP goes tits up.

Possibly you are correct on this issue about Rudkins role. But he is a huge reason why we are in this mess in the first place. Hindering contracts and terrible transfer dealings for a prolonged period of time. No accountability at the top no surprise the same on the pitch with players. 
his role  now should be to put a promotion contending team on the pitch whilst selling players to stay within financial means.
Surely clubs in Saudi would take Faes, Vestegaard, Winks, Soumare. Offload these first and drastically reduce the wage bill. He has to lead the staff and get rid of players who do not want to be here or are a drain on the club. 
keep Hamza and even Kasey. At least they try and play for the shirt. And we know they both can compete at this level. 
Our final 3 months of the Championship with Maresca was a struggle, and we had a power team by championship stands then. We have had dire results and performances for 16 months and are in a far worse position on and off the pitch. 
Marti has a huge job on his hands.

I also seen an interveiw with Marti when hr joined saying he dont like big squads and prefers smaller squads to work with.

Surprised Rudkin hasn't gone for Sailors Rough Shagg. My Grandad swore by it.
