Absolutely shows our academy is doing fine and producing talented kids. Hamza played superb, even when he lost it he won it back his anticipation was good.

An absolute mess of the team at the minute but I really loved watching that.

Hamza and Brunt were sensational. Maddisonand Lookman brilliant and then plenty of strong performances from Albrighton, Ward and the other academy boys did well too.

Cannot believe Alves got his debut at 16, him and his family must be buzzing. Some nice touches too, the club clearly want to make him feel like his future is here and only here. Brilliant. I'm revved, tins being swigged at incredible PACE.

Nice I had a can everytime my stream died. Expecting a kebab and an early night.

The feet on Alves tho, lad broke a few ankles

Considering his age he looks a very confident lad. I hope to see more of him.

Really good to see our youngsters getting a run out, it's almost like our injury crisis has galvanised the team. Special mention for Alves, Groby lad, good to see.

Hamza yes was out of position but 2nd half gave the ball away a lot, yes he retrieved it a few times but was scarey at times

Never satisfied!! Hamza was outstanding.

Quite incredible we're playing better than we have in a long time, with a depleted, threadbare squad.

It looks like they're more hungry, they want it more, that want to attack, play on the front foot, go forwards, be positive, look more confident, more aggression, almost the old fashion siege mentality that we all love to see, maybe its coincidence, but it's refreshing to see.

I'm all for the kids or the first choice's not playing given how we've played for the last 12 months, let's be honest, defensively they can't be much worse than the seasoned senior pros what we've see in the last year can they and maybe they have the bit between their teeth.

Shows we can find another way of playing and can fill gaps, long may it continue - I just hope it doesn't change when we finally, maybe get our first choices fit again.

Not sure why he didnt get Tielemans and Maddison off after the 4th.

There were still 15 mins to play and we needed to save subs in case we picked up another injury

Captain's performance from Albrighton today as well. Battled hard for every ball, and bombed up and down the right flank all game. Classic Albrighton performance with a lot of graft and summed up perfectly by how he was the one at the far post to tuck in the fourth to wrap proceedings up.

Bet he didn’t think when he moved here on a free from Villa he would have a PL and FA Cup winners medal. Looked so good today, as solid as ever

Absolutely love the cup... so great to see the young lads come on and all look so confident!

What’s great about this is that most of them will be offered loans now. There will be lower league clubs who held doubts before but will see the result and performances and think they are with a try.

Many are going to be playing the next few League games too.
