But he doesn't look like he has the potential to make it at the top level.  He would be a good candidate, imo, to go on loan

Actually thought he did really well and had 3 or 4 good blocks before that rash tackle that earned him a yellow. Then he looked like a red card coming, so good decision taking him off at HT.

No technical quality whatsoever, always out of position and he's not even quick.

Thought he did really well in the first half hour, until he was booked, then he just looked completely out of confidence. Right decision to take him off, very lucky to not be sent off by Dean.

I'm not saying he'll make it, but he's played 3 games ffs. Some people were saying Luke Thomas would never make it here a couple of months ago, and that was after 30 odd games, an FA Cup win and scoring a worldie at Old Trafford, now they are saying he's made left back spot his own. Also worth mentioning VDC was playing on the opposite side to what he's used to today.

 

I think he was solid to start with, but after the booking he lost focus and went downhill quickly. He needs a loan out at least before we completely write him off.

Re the potential second yellow, it was right in front of us, he clearly slipped (as many players did today) and the Watford player did his best to get him sent off by feigning injury. A sending off would have been ridiculously harsh.

 

Dean should therefore be applauded for keeping him on the field as much as Rodgers should be for taking him off at half time.

This is just embarrassing. I can’t ever imagine the motivation for writing something like this, especially about a young player who’s only made a handful of appearances…and I certainly can’t imagine writing anything like that after a 4-1 win.

Just thinking about the amount of young or inexperienced players who our fans have written off as "not at the required level" after a handful of games, including Jamie Vardy. Jamie ****ing Vardy  You have thought we'd have learnt by now. 

 

Got no issue with writing off experienced players like Bertrand and Vestergaard, but those from non league and the youth team or even young players from abroad can we at least get past the point where you can count their appearances on one hand before declaring them finished.

Yeah this thread is ridic. If a kid has a stinker it is harsh enough. But idea of slagging off 20 year old playing out of position is silly. Probably still better than Bertrand there anayway

Serious question, do you ever have anything positive or constructive to add? Every time I see you post it’s complaining about this player or that player or the manager.

Is there any players at the club you like? Is there anything about the club you like? Do you even support Leicester?

I think he has a long way to come before he is ready at the level we need.

A good loan in L1 or L2 and he might develop from there.
