****ing fed up with this now.

We'll have gone 23 days between league games between Liverpool and Spurs.

At the same time, this has given us a great chance to nurse our knocks back to fitness.

Frustrating as it is, every cloud…

gives those rejoining the squad another week for rehabilitation.

Extra week will really aid the likes of Cags, Tomas, Castagne, Daka, KDH and Justin.
and brings likes of Vardy, Fofana, Evans another step closer.

Just bin the season, I’m sick of it.

Any integrity during this season has gone.

Just to clarify

if we are moaning about these postponements then we accept we should have played all the games we have called off

it is what it is

Exactly.

As I have said all along a lot of hypocrites.

No-one should have been allowed to get games cancelled but the precedent was set and we find ourselves where clubs are cancelling game on their terms and twisting their circumstances, claiming circumstances in order to cancel games.

Our club being very much at the forefront of that.

No doubt our club, management, players and many fans alike will bemoan and blame the Norwich and Burnley postponements for our inevitable fixture build up later in the season and the coming weeks but perhaps they should look a little closer to home, always easier to blame others though isn’t it.

Positives though - Atleast we won’t get any of the prima donnas injured.

Ah damnit - We still manage that on reduced schedule training don’t we. :frusty:

No, the Government and new variant have damaged things. Lots to blame the PL on but this is not one of them.

If they'd introduced more restrictions, likely more games would have gone ahead.

The premier league set the rules around games being called off, the rules allow clubs (like we have) to call off games where the majority of absences are often non-covid related.

Also I’m not convinced any ‘restrictions’ would have helped too much as plenty of countries have brought them in and seen spiralling cases regardless.

Until they are required to play 3 games a week in April which will then lead to more injuries.

He is now going off saying you should have recalled that striker you have on loan at Accrington I think? Who is also injured lol

He's a complete idiot. He was saying James Justin shouldn't be counted as injured as he's just played 45 minutes in an U23 game after 10 months out!

As long as the EPL come out now and say that any player signed after the date of the postponed game is illegible for the re-arranged fixture, then fine.  Otherwise teams in a relegation battle can take the p*ss.   The integrity of the EPL sinks lower as each week passes by.

Don’t understand why some think this is good. We will always be beset by injuries, they have just lost their key man and are on a downward spiral. They will be in a much better position come through rearranged tie
