Yep. You don’t want to watch it back, it will just wind you up more. There’s loads of little

things like that in both the last goals but it’s healthier to just ignore it and hope to Christ we can patch things up for the weekend (I am not hopeful).

I honestly thought he pushed it into the goal scorer’s path but whatever

Got exactly what we deserved.

Decision making at both ends of the pitch cost us dearly tonight. The lack of intelligence in our side at times is astonishing. No wonder Brendan is livid. Some of those errors genuinely wouldn't look out of place at school boy level.

What seemed noticeable to me was Rodgers and co. seem far more ecstatic when one of their "tactical masterclasses" more than anything else. Tonight's example being Barnes on and setting up the goal.

I was about to say. Let’s not be naive and look silly like other clubs when we laugh about whether spurs have a trophy case or not. Most clubs could go a long way back for there glory times. We just squeeze on the list.

I don’t understand how people can blame the ref or say any of that was unlucky. It was a collapse. We have two or three of them a season. Embarrassing, weak, soft etc. Nothing unlucky about it.

We did a similar thing with Spurs last game of last season. We did it at Bournemouth. We conceded  a lead v Watford. We got battered by Newcastle. We won the Fa cup by a CM of decision going our way. We do this every year. We have two, three maybe four performances which are embarrassing. Manager hasn’t worked out how to fix it. He won’t, he can’t - three years and it hasn’t made us stronger we are the same. The personal can’t seem to become stronger, smarter for it.

Decisions go against every team. You don’t give away a lead and then a point with 12 seconds remaining. I mean didn’t most of these bottle it against Liverpool in the Carling Cup a few weeks ago. It’s habit now. We need to accept it’s what this team is. Very good at times but incredibly weak individuals. Poor captaincy. Limited tactical knowledge.

Ref gifted them a hand ball goal which wasn't checked by VAR, added far too much extra time, didn't have the balls to send off a player who assaulted our defender, said player then scored a goal 2 minutes after the already too long extra time had finished.

This is absolutely correct. Mind you, our game management at the end was complete shite.

we have to manage games better, Schmeichel needs to take a yellow for the team and stop them grabbing the ball out of the net, break up the momentum, when they make it 2-2 just kill it dead, we lost our heads

someone needs to hack Bergwijn down when he goes clear too. Take the card for the team. Also why the **** Kasper hasn't come and swept up. I'm fuming

How the f**** to u lose that game , here’s some food for thought . Lazy players not wanting to shield the ball and hold it . We must have the worst forwards in the league for holding the ball up , we lose 90% of balls played forward . The back four I thought they had there own ball , they played it backwards and sideways that much, the rest of the side I am sure went to sleep. That really has to be the worst effort I have seen for sometimes , I am gutted and to think things will only get worst over the next month or so .

Leicestery doesn't quite have the same ring to it but I definitely think there should be some kind of autocorrect on here every time somebody tries to type Spursy on here. There's just no way we can laugh at anyone at this point. I'm genuinely fed up of the number of pathetic collapses we have. This might be the worst of the lot.

Awful set up from the start and god knows how we nearly won the game anyway, but that's some spectacular way to lose it. I'd like to say this should spur them on but what's the use. There'll no doubt be another humiliation in the next few games anyway.

League campaign is done already. What a ****ing boring season. We better go for it in the cups.

Not having that, scored 2 goals and made many other chances. Looked good on the counter, could have scored more. 5 minutes was radiculous in the first place, to then add two extra minutes, after missing a hand ball on the goal build up and a clear red card (even if it's yellow for the push and yellow for jumping in crowd)! It's disgraceful reffing.

They missed a lot more chances than we did if you didn’t notice 😂

I said this last night about Cags taking Bergwign down before rounding Kasper.

Then realised we can ill afford to have a player suspended 😂

Rodgers HAS to make some sort of CB signing in the next 10 days surely.

As gut wrenching as it can be, I’ll actually take a loss like that IF its for the greater good and it’s to highlight our huge shortcomings to which we can then do something about. The problem is, Rodgers has been here long enough for the fans to reasonably assume he CAN’T do something about it.

I said how poor we were last night to my mates at 2-1 up, but got shouted down because we were winning. I imagine by and large it would’ve been the same on here, having those views just after a win.

There’s no painting over the cracks, we are absolutely shite. Let’s just hope we get a reaction in the next two games, in particular on 6th Feb. If you think last night hurt, that fixture up the road would be tenfold if we manage to get beat (a very very realistic prospect)

It does but there’s no way you can disallow it. The only way that gets ruled out for handball if it’s against any of the big boys.

We could’ve taken a yellow for their equaliser too, just around the halfway line. Too nice.

Awful, let’s be honest as others have said, Spurs could and should have scored 5 or 6 and that is the crux of our problem, we are so open. Regardless of injuries our defensive set up is hideous, we are so poor in transition and even when players like Ricky P, Castagne and Evans are available we still look as fragile.

the change in shape to 4-3-3 and 3-4-3 just isn’t working, even Wilf has looked lost at sea this season and we are continually conceding 20 or more shots to the opposition, unfortunately in my opinion even if we bought in better defenders it wouldn’t solve the problem, we are like Spurs under Ardiles exciting to watch but heinous in defence and eventually you lose more games than you win as teams work out plans to beat you. For me Brendan needs to go back to the tried and trusted 4-1-4-1 as Wilf gave the defenders that screen, currently it looks like the midfield are being told to go out, have fun and enjoy themselves and have little or no defensive responsibility

Slept on it. Still seething. A proper capitulation. If we are honest with ourselves we didn't deserve anything from that game before their 2 goals anyways. Too many half arsed players out there. We need a Wes or Fuchs back in that dressing room to kick some of them up the arse. We don't have that player at the moment.

Still find the whole thing bewildering this morning

🤷‍♂️

Quite literally all we needed to do in the last ten mins or so was keep the fookin ball. And we kept just giving it away,  leading to them putting us under pressure yet again

It was so naive for a Premiership team to do that.
Whether it’s lack of self belief, or lack of belief in the manager or whatever… I just don’t know

Shit Turkish big head centre back tries to play the offside trap rather than just standing his man up. Shit mistake to make it 1-1.

Big Danish **** centre back can’t win his header which should be his bread and butter and then doesn’t make the professional foul to take a yellow and kill the game. Terrible defending from a terrible player makes it 2-2.

Then the Belgian Prince who’s decided he doesn’t want to be here anymore so he can go to “a Champions League club” gives the ball away in the middle of the park when the momentum is completely with the other team and there’s about 20 seconds left to finish off the gift of giving away the 3 points to make it 3-2.

**** it I’m going back to bed.
