Same result, different excuses. Knocked it about well but dreadful at both ends where it counts. Shame there's no points for artistic impression.

Can someone genuinely explain to me, how Jiminez (in an offside position) hasn’t impacted the play when you look at that image? Seriously? Even with a shred of doubt, he has to be given offside.

If the rule has been updated to say the offside player has to be within a yard of the GK (for example), then on attacking free-kicks we should be sticking 2 or 3 players directly infront of the keeper a yard or 2 away from him … it’s just plain ludicrous!

Horrible decision, add in the handball goal for West Ham, while we haven’t been great those decisions are making our position look worse

I'm 100% convinced. I've no doubt Soy is also playing a part, but I find it astounding that anybody, especially a high level referee, think's that Jiminez is not playing a part lol

If he’d jumped out of the way of the ball as it went towards goal then it would have been disallowed - because he was running away from its path it’s not been chalked off.  I also think it makes a difference that a) the lino didn’t flag and b) kasper isn’t getting to it even if Jimenez isn’t there  and c) the var is atwell ….

I think it’s one of those debatable subjective decisions what happens but it proves what a waste of time VAR is because it’s highlighted a further consistency from what’s happened for us and against us this season.

We only have to look how David Ellerey has completely fudged the rules and laws of football. IFAB were an organisation you never ever heard about for years. Now here we are every season there’s a new set of rules or a clarification released. Those handballs shouts we had yesterday (I didn’t think they were handballs) but if they had occurred in European competition, they’d been given as penalties.

We had a decision last week come down to where a player sleeve was. I’d have been interested to see what happened if he was wearing long sleeves. Then VAR would have had no guide and I suspect they’d have gone handball.

Thought we were much better against West Ham than against Wolves.

Over 90 minutes there’s no comparison. We were absolutely honking first half v West Ham.

2nd half v West Ham was the best half of the 4 though for me!

To be fair I thought it was only really the first 20/25 minutes of the West Ham game that was bad.

That is easily the best option in away matches giving us four in midfield.

....it is a good setup, but do you not feel that KDH is on the verge of a burn out!!!

He really seemed to be struggling at the back end of the game and he might just be too eager to play for his own benefit. This is where injuries show themselves, and he could be out for weeks as opposed to one game, if we look after him. Soumare needs to get up and running soon, we need the option.

Yeah I thought he looked a bit burnt out by the end too. Maybe give Soumare a run out in the ECL game.

Whilst we have injuries 3 of our 4 defenders are decent and would grace many teams.

Big Dan whilst a bomb scare has had good games.

Coaching really is questionable

Hamza is the best thing since sliced bread as CB and lorded by Rodgers….he was promptly dropped!?

Clear that Daka or Iheanacho alone look lost and need support. Vardy in his 36th year also needs support but we don’t play 2 out of the 3

If we play wingers Lookman is our best left option and offers something defensively

Despite a great run last season Iheanacho was booted out for Barnes.

Harvey has had a poor season other than 2nd half against West Ham and against a poor Randers

injured twice, Covid twice hasn’t helped but still rarely plays a full game.

Is he really one of our best 11?

Brunt also summarily discarded after a very creditable debut  ... unless he's injured.

Why do people think Wolves were poor? Did they forget our title winning season? Possession doesnt define how well you win a game.

To me they had clinical intelligent attacks and were solid defending.

We had a lot of the ball, but the middle of the park is the least important area.

But there's a difference between controlling a game from the back, denying the opposition a sight on goal and making your few breaks count, from the way Wolves performed yesterday.  We didn't just outpossess them.  We outplayed them for most of the game, denying them chances, whilst creating quite a few ourselves.  The difference was that they were clinical (maybe with a touch of luck) with the few half-chances we allowed them, whereas we were profligate and were arguably denied 2 handball penalties.  Their defence wasn't solid;  we created a number of chances.  Had we been a bit more clinical in our finishing we would have won comfortably.

I think those handballs are always given in European leagues but much less so over here unless it’s for Man City

the back pass is astonishing but when was the last time you saw one given ?

Watched the extended highlights back and we were really unlucky not to get anything here. Was at the game and thought we looked a bit toothless, I like Daka but hope he studies the runs Vardy makes in behind the defence hard because he has the blistering pace to replicate these.

Burnley next week is a must win, especially for our travelling fans who've seen 7 straight away defeats.

Let’s get a few things straight about yesterday:

1) our problem this season has been conceding lots of chances against us. We didn’t do that against Wolves, in fact they barely threatened our goal, but managed to score twice from range, which is unusual.

2) our passing game has been missing much of this season. Think back to Brentford away, Palace away and Saints away (1st half in particular). We have seen matches where players have constantly been passing sideways and backwards with only the odd player brave enough to move forward. We looked completely unable to build attacks at times in those three games. Again we didn’t do this against Wolves, we attacked positively and looked confident playing the ball into their half and played some good stuff throughout.

3) we can’t seem to dig out wins. Unfortunately, this was the only issue on Sunday - that toughness to close out games, manage games and get what we deserve (or like Wolves and West Ham have done he last two weeks; get more than we deserve.

so I think there were positives, but also a big question mark over this team that BR needs to sort out

Apologies if this has been posted, but I think this clearly shows Jimenez was offside and interfering (just think of our game at Brighton earlier in the season…)

No chance I want goals like this being ruled out for offside, it’s clutching at straws.

The frustration for me, like many others, is the lack of consistency. If our goal at Brighton had stood, then fair play this one standing… but it didn’t, and so this shouldn’t have.

Either give them both or give neither.

Would like to see us try our a diamond in our game against Burnley.

Something like;

Kasper

Ricardo Amartey Soyuncu Thomas

Ndidi

Tielemans KDH

Maddison

Iheanacho Daka

Its Not a Bad call....Plus other players can slot in....

One thing with this call, it does take our pacemen & strength, out of the equation

We tend not to get the decisions.

Usually so , But I thought he had a Good game..

...I feel the "handball" from Ricardo shot was a dodgy call and the Wolves second goal was a player in an offside position which obscured Kasper's view. He reacted late, because he could not see the player taking the shot. VAR may have called it, but  he should have taken a look on the side. It should be compulsory for a referee to go to the viewer on the side.

I think the goal was given because Jimenez was going away the ball rather than towards it. He clearly plays a part but, I don't know, I didn't get too annoyed about it. I don't think Schmeichel reaches it in any case.
