Whatever, we keep getting injuries and something has to change, if we become more cautious to bringing players back then so be it. Nearly 90% of players that come back from a long lay off with us get injured again very quickly, that's very perturbing. It's beyond a joke now, whether its a mixture of poor man management or just complete bad luck something has to be looked at, it's demoralising now knowing we don't have Fofana and Vards going into the game tomorrow. Arguably two of our most important players who really set the standards for how we play as a team. 1

Justin took 12 months to recover from an ACL injury, when plenty of other PL clubs have had players return inside 9 months. Fofana was initially December/New Year and has taken another 2-3 months to be match ready. The injuries were much worse over Christmas because we had to play players through fixtures the PL wouldn't call off. Even with the current uproar, we have only got 6 out and Fofana will be back on Sunday and Ricardo not long after, so it seems. Castagne, Evans and Vardy are all surely targeting United straight after the international break. It is hardly disastrous anymore. Wow
Dan Posted 9 March 2022 Posted 9 March 2022 When we have a full squad eh might as well change it to "when we have Mbappe and Haaland". It's about as realistic. 1 1

In Germany season tickets are less then 200 euros a season. A price increase is absolutley disgusting and hopefully if they announce one our supporters will group together and protest One will the rest will stay schtum to keep their cosy treatment.

He could have been held back for a month and still have been injuired by a tackle. Its a contact sport after all.

Starting Vardy after his first 20 minutes cameo was a bit desperate, we have constantly had the long term injury, the come back and the subsequently long lay off thereafter. We do not seem to learn from previous experiences, and we see this over and over in different aspects of the management of this team.. 2

All we know is that of all the players to return from long lay offs are quickly picking up other injuries and overall our injury issues is relentless. I cannot accept there's nothing more we can do. 3
CosbehFox Posted 9 March 2022 Posted 9 March 2022 (edited) How much more longer though do you play Vardy 'to step' up his injury return though? He did twenty in the week. Maybe 45 next? But that's a bit of an odd mark Doing sixty in the next game seems a logical step which doesn't affect the step up of the team as a whole. Fofana came through a behind closed doors friendly on Friday btw - that's why the club were ready for him to play some part tomorrow night. Edited 9 March 2022 by Cardiff_Fox 1

I agree with you from a point of hamstring, muscle pulls etc. But an impact injury is a little different.
tsintskaro Posted 9 March 2022 Posted 9 March 2022 He is 35, you can no longer depend on Vardy get over it 1

Well 8% on a £450 season ticket certainly starts to push it that way. They keep using the 380 because that's the cheapest. Please don't be fooled. There was some interesting things spoken about at the FCC certainly Leeds fanbase got mentioned a lot and the club clearly don't want any of that mentality about if they can help it.
Foxes96 Posted 9 March 2022 Posted 9 March 2022 No mention of Ndidi suggests he is okay and didn’t pick up a knock the other day. Shame about Fofana, although should only miss the one game, so hopefully back for the weekend. Vardy being out is disappointing, especially given how sharp he had looked, but can’t legislate for an impact injury like that. At least they brought him straight off, and will hopefully back after the international break
Md9 Posted 9 March 2022 Posted 9 March 2022 Can see vardy calling it a day at the end of the season if we don’t get any kind of European football getting on a bit and sure it must be frustrating coming back for a game or 2 then injured again for a month

The fact it they really don't need this money. The same as they really didn't need our 70 quid after giving us a refund, what was the point and technically they spent it all in less that a couple of months anyway even with furlough. I'm shocked so many are happy to sit and accept it. It's terrible timing as well. I agree. I'm not too fond of the whole they have looked after us, so it Ok argument. But prices can't be frozen indefinitely. I don't think the timing is great, but when is a good time to put up prices? When was the last time they increased the price of a season ticket? I think our season tickets are pretty good value. I have more of an issue with the cost of individual match tickets, even though they don't affect me as a season ticket holder. Who are they? The club or Top? The club has 3 consecutive years of losses, adding up to £121m, so it is not like they are sitting on a pile of cash. Since King Power acquired LCFC in August 2010, the owners have put in £352m (£246m loans and £106m share capital), including £162m in the last two years alone. In fact, in the ten years up to 2020, they have provided the 6th highest funding in the Premier League, so it's not like TOP isn't putting his hand in his pocket. 2

He's a later bloomer, he's going to want to play in the PL for as long as possible. 6
