Vaccination 💉

this is a factor but surely not so major given the price

i suspect he already has an 'agreement' somewhere next summer which will be revealed in january

what is just plain weird is his press interview a month ago

Can't see that being an issue for the majority of clubs, I'm surprised there's not been interest from PL clubs anyway.

I think it might be compulsory for players in Italy to be vaccinated, so could be why Inter have gone quiet

Don't think it takes much of a genius to evaluate Maguire do you. He'd only have to copy everyone else.

I’m not sure about that. At the time he was going against the pundit grain. He might come across as a bit thick, but he’s an ex pro and he managed for a bit.

Presuming we're not bringing anyone in; if we're losing Fofona we can't let Soyuncu go as well.

We'll be left with Evans (now at a stage where he struggles to keep fit), Amartey, Vestergaard.

Wtf does “the Wolves board gives the impression of wanting to temporise by favouring a priority file” mean? It sounds like it’s been put back and forth through Google translate 5 times.

He was Brilliant when he came in , people were saying he was better then slab head ( OK maybe hot hard..)  for a quarter of the cash but people forget he turned to shit.. Iv no idea why ??   unforced errors stupid back passes and fancy turns ill placed giving the ball away, he was a complete car crash.  if he stays then i guess he will get another chance but i can see him leaving being good for all the club and him.  that would mean we would need 2 defenders though..

Didn’t he best football also come when he played…for Brendan?

Rodgers persistently playing a championship standard player in Amartey ahead of him, I am hardly surprised that Soyuncu has had his confidence ruined.

Rodgers won't back down. Soyuncu is finished here and has been since bottling the 50-50 challenge against Spurs last season. The only way he gets back in is if the Rodgers goes.

He's the only player I can recall being called out individually by the manager in the media rounds post-match in his entire tenure here.

Rodgers hasn't destroyed him, that's just working to an agenda. Soyuncu has never been comfortable as the main CB. Last season, almost by default he was the main man at the back in the middle of 26 different defensive combinations. As soon as he was back alongside Evans he was far more comfortable. The only effect Rodgers has had on him is to publicly call him out for that half tackle at White Hart Lane last season. Since which time the pair of them have decided to ignore each other and act like kids rather than just sort it out and get on with it.

Under Puel, we lost 1-0 to Cardiff.  Soyuncu was making one of his first starts for us.  He looked immense until he made a mistake.   He made more mistakes.  More recently,  when he has played, he has lacked confidence.   Perhaps he's just a player who has confidence issues.   This would explain  his inconsistency.

He was brilliant for one season. Perhaps he just isn't that good? Would explain his inconsistency and poor decision making.

One brilliant season doesn't make a player good.

Also, the one season he was brilliant was under Brendan anyway.

Armarty's been constantly s**t but never seems to get dropped......but Soyuncu gets frozen out totally.

I would have least gave him a chance the last couple of games

He's spent half his career here on the bench or even outside the matchday squad. The only time he's been undroppable is when he's the only one fit to play. Everyone knows he's way short of the standard but unless Cags and Rodgers shake hands, he's the man wearing the shirt for now.

This could be a defining moment for Rogers.  He has lost his marbles.

Why do people still think Cags is any good? He has become shite. I reject its Rodgers because he was shite for Turkey too. He is another one that needs a new start.

If the criticism from Rodgers has caused his decline to exacerbate, then he needs to grow a pair somewhere else.
