I thought more season ticket holders would of taken the option to buy for this game, it is a quarter final of a European completion. I don’t think £25 is a bad price either

Funny when it doesn’t sell out and the club are begging for people to buy. Pathetic operations

Just to be clear this is the 6th extra game to be played at home in Europe this season.

The last 2 games in this comp didn't sell out but they have decided to increase the price of a ticket.

Read the room re the current costs of living crisis and the general mood of people regards spending on luxuries. Imo the club should have acknowledged the amount of European games we have already had and priced it at the same as the last round.

The extra from the increase is nothing to them but quite a lot to a family of attendees, who let's remember are the market they are trying to attract these days.

The last two were well priced but for this one they have got carried away a bit. Would they rather have 25,000 fans in there at £25 or sell the place out for £15 (maybe £20 at a push would be fair, a £5 increase per round). I know what the fans and players would prefer.

It's a shame. All for an extra £100-200k.

Yeah I genuinely feel they got this one wrong 20 quid and this sells out. If it doesn't at 25 I'll be raising the issue at the next FCC they should want the place packed and loud.

Should allow UFS to do a tifo as well. This tie feels like a seville moment we need to be up for it and have something to take to Eindhoven.

If it's not full I feel the club have dropped one here.

With this being a frustrating as hell situation I have to say the response to it is music to my ears in terms of numbers and the feeling it's generated from fans. A lot of interesting perspectives and ideas too. Every cloud...

Can't stop giggling at people genuinely thinking Top would be insulted by our fanbase daring to raise something they would like to see a change take place. The man is a ruthless businessman who will deal with far more confrontational or difficult resistances and problems.

@ TOP the clappers are dog shit, the atmosphere those you employ encourage and have helped create is dog shit. Please mate

I would genuinely love to know who at the club makes the call on clappers and goal music?

Surely they're not this unaware?

It's the best thing to come of this thread. He'd probably be more appreciative of fans raising issues or concerns as they'd be talking about something they care about. Always enjoy engaging with people who think a criticism of the club means i want to disband King Power, idiots.

Regrettably, I'm not taking up my option (x2) and that is because its a Thursday night and a 2.5 hour drive, each way. The cost of diesel is now a killer so have to be careful (even with 5p off!). Still coming up for weekend Premier League games though.

To be fair having heard a couple of reasons why the singing section isnt going ahead for psv, it's not an easy scenario for the Club to manage.

I hear what you're saying, but PSV are charging roughly the same as us and that have virtually sold out already. Their fans have the same Covid and financial pressures as Leicester imo.

The same weird ***** who thought changing the goal music to a song I had the misfortune to have to hear 5 times in porto watching Ben ****ing Hamer was a good thing

The club love it, as others have pointed out the question needs to be asked why these people are in a position of influence at the club. Or in another 5 to 10 years time is the way the game will have gone completely, sterile and completely family entertainment only.

Edit, same reasons that were given to UFS.

I mean, if he thought like an idiot then probably. I imagine he's got a bit more brain capacity than "you said something negative. me upset. me hate leicester now. me sell club."

What were the reasons?

I'm not in the know but I think I saw someone on here saying the club have their own arrangements for a "tifo" like display.

The TIFO is Union FS as far as I’m aware. Why would a section compromise that even if it was  though?

Don't know if I'll piss union fs off entirely by saying or whether they're bound by the confidentiality.

I doubt UFS are the only people that know of the clubs plans but I suppose you're right.

I guess that it's something for fans to look forward to if the club want to keep it hush hush.
