Official attendance for Rennes home was 25,858, just as a marker.

We have 10 full days of general sale this time . Maybe I'm old school but everybody used judge demand on how well sales went after a good few days of general sale .

Think you'll find a lot of people that used to be regulars at this one along with a few first timers . Which I know everybody on here loves 😅

Or consider the reality check on the pricing structure

I know there's a real pressure on people's incomes at the moment but the same can be said in Holland and they have already sold out their home game a few days ago.

If we can't fill out the stadium with a county population of 700,000 people at £25 per ticket, then that just about sums up people's apathy about this competition.

City & county population is 1,050,000

I'm sure it's a complete coincidence that the section designated for Rennes has almost completely sold out already.

Have the other areas in the South Stand filled up as quickly? Perhaps these are the signs that a naturally occurring 'end' is starting to form despite the unhelpful club stance.

Well it's hard to compare as SK2 and SK3 are a bit smaller. SK4 is directly comparable, and there are about 400 more empty seats in SK4 than SK1 last time I looked.

Funnily enough in recent history, disregarding 15/16, some of our more poorly attended games have been the best atmosphere. 1-0 vs Boro where the gridlock meant about 8,000 fans got in and being in the county and no way in, watching on Sky the atmosphere was brilliant, a lot of League One atmospheres were unusually decent as well. I think adversity brings the best out of our fans sometimes and perhaps realising the attendance is down will spur on those there.

My Lad loves the walkers Hall or Weller stand for the Euro Competitions but the prices set by UEFA are ridiculously overpriced £55 adult He’s 16 and will have to pay £45, think it was only £30 for the Rennes home game in either halls £16 for the lad !

so we’re going for J2 for this one which I recon will be a right Feisty game !

That’s where the problem all began in the first place. Most affordable tickets positioned in the stand which was supposed to replace the Kop

Dont get your point the Kop at filbert st was always the cheapest tickets.

Even at Filbert St not all the Kop joined in the singing and certainly didn't spend the whole game standing but those that did concentrated into one section/area over time. That didn't and hasn't happened at KP because the Kop is a mix of those FS kop fans who didn't sing much or stand and most of the DD. The purchasing of ST in there was a 1st come 1st served hence the current problem. The only way it can be resolved is to move some people most likely against their wishes.

Horse and bolted springs to mind.

You've missed my point. My response was to someone saying it's because of the cheap tickets in the kop.

They where also the cheapest at filbert street.

I just dont get the point about the price and singing is all.

At a guess I would say football has become more expensive which would naturally increase the number of people looking for cheaper seats plus they can't go in the North Stand which i guess would be similarly priced. The East Stand at FS used to be quite cheap but the equivalent at the KP is significantly more so those people would also end up in the Kop.

The Kop was also standing and had a reputation for trouble.

People had a choice when it came to the new stadium - pay a considerable mark up for a seat on the sideline or go in the Kop which was going to be far less chaotic than before.

See your point now.

The Double Deckers were accustomed to a behind the goal view so most wanted something similar in the new place. As the North Stand was families only, the new South Stand was the only choice. However, most of those must've moved on by now so there can't be many of the Flask Mob left. I've not been in the SK's since the UCL so lost touch with the demographic.

It seems so unfair for the club not to agree to a regular singing section. They seem more than happy to have an away section for the coach 1 biddys, which just so happens to be on the front row of every away ground. Which makes us look like an absolute embarrassment every time our fans are shown on tv.

Who gives even the slightest of sh1ts what sky sports fan boys or Twitter meme pages think of us. Even the slightest

These posts slagging off our older fans is getting boring now.

Are all these image conscious younger fans going to like being told they're not welcome one day, after decades of support?

We have some older fans, so what.

The older fans are the reason we're all here right??

My first game Swindon 93 I was crying my eyes out at full time. I was 10. An elderly gentleman no idea who he was gave me his Leicester Rosette and said something kind, that was the first Leicester thing I had that was just mine. It went up on my bedroom wall at home and I can remember I had a massive Cantona poster on other wall that was looking right at it, that bothered the 10year old me so got rid of Cantona and surrounded the rosette with pictures of joachim and Draper out of the Mercury and Shoot magazine.

I'd be a man United supporter if it wasn't for that old man.
