Big game for them against Napoli on the weekend, if they can get a result, they might just prioritise getting top 4 over this - they are currently 5 points behind Juventus with 6 games remaining. They do however, play Inter and Napoli before they come to the KP, so two defeats and it could be all over for their top 4 hopes.

No way that Mourinho will prioritise an outside chance of finishing 4th in the league over a winning a trophy. He's all about winning trophies.

I know Roma is a scary team on paper, but they’re not the side they are 3 or 4 years ago. They’re a Wolves or West Ham in Serie A now, not a Chelsea.

They’re clearly not at the same level as Napoli, who we largely matched over both our games in the Europa League groups when we weren’t playing as well as we are now.

Not saying it will be easy but we absolutely shouldn’t be scared of them.

I for one am terrified! I lived in Rome for 15 years and all of my friends (and Rome-based co-workers) there are Roma fans. I will never hear the end of it if they win. Also, wife has just reminded me we have tickets to see Foil, Arms and Hogg on May 5, and will be spending the night in Northampton. So I hope it is the early kickoff, because there is not way I am getting out of it.

On paper I don’t feel like they’re scary. Certainly no more than a Wolves or West Ham.

Chris Smalling, Mikitaryan and Tammy Abraham were gash in the PL 3/4 years ago. Should do these with our current form and players back.

Look at it player for player and you’ll be confident. The danger with Mourinho sides is that he’ll shithouse a win.

just play confident in first leg, dont make same mistake like against PSV and pussy out

They will come here for easy draw. We should play for a win

Abraham is not as good as he is portrayed and we should smash them

Never underestimate a Mourinho team to grind their way to results.

Was going to say exactly this. Also, I think we all have a slight worry that the team can be too nice - you can bet Roma will be experts in shit-housery and they have a lot more european experience than we do.

Still think we have the pace to beat them though, particularly if Vardy is fit.

Other club’s fans can say what they like. You beat PSV, Roma and Marseille/Feyenoord and you’re deserved Euro winners imo

Abraham is so overrated. Mid to lower level PL player at best, if not Championship

I watched few Roma games and this guy miss a lot clear cut chances. I mean so does our strikers, but that other story

He is fine player, mid table pl club would be more than enough for him. Still he is young and probably will develop but he is not that level of a player right now our defense should be afraid of
