I'd have been 31, up till that point I never thought I'd see us win anything. It's been a really special 25 years.

I went to the first game at Wembley, but missed the replay.

I don’t know how we do it. It’s remarkable really - a ‘lesser’ and relatively unfashionable provisional club. Compare that record to a club like Tottenham or Everton. Yes when we’re down it’s previously been woeful and to all intent and purposes we bottomed out, but the trophy record is unbelievable. It proves we are the ‘best of the rest’ and have a better record than some of the clubs in that ‘best’ group (eg Tottenham).

If we can nab a European trophy we can extend all that as well. Unique… and more.

I was 16 and way more mature than I am now.

Yes me too. I thought we were living the dream.

Even more remarkable is that 14 years ago we were relegated to league 1. Imagine how you felt 14 years ago on that day, fearful of what lay in store for us.  14 years is about the age of my middle son, it’s a blink of an eye yet in that time we’ve won 3 titles and 2 trophies, 1 champions league quarter final and another European semi final and possible winners. Did anyone imagine that as we sat in tears at the Victoria ground, or looked at the images on tv of fans holding “we’ll be back” signs.

Great, now I feel OLD! :P  Can't complain too much about everything that's happened since, though, both for the club AND personally :D

Most definitely this

I was also at Wembley and missed the replay. I remember drinking with loads of ‘Boro lads and having a real laugh with them. Quite a contrast to the Spurs mob a few years later….

NO other club in that time has won the 3 domestic trophies and top 3 domestic leagues.

I mean, in all fairness, how many clubs have done that anyway?

Chuck in the Community/Charity Shield as well.

Granted, I know it's a cheap achievement because of the clubs who've never actually been to the third tier but still.

I was 17. I'd been to Wembley and was also at Hillsborough that night.

I genuinely believed that would be as good as it got being a Leicester City fan and I was alright with that.

I was very wrong though!

We've been spoilt.

I was at this game as a kid. What a great day it was! Pontus Kamark masterclass with the legendary MON in charge.

When we got relegated I didn’t think we’d see days like that one again, but how fortunate we were to have Vichai come and buy the club.

Hopefully we are parading another trophy come the end of the season!

I've an Arsenal supporting mate who was a season ticket holder up to the point of their 'Invincibles' season. After that he gave his ticket up and has never been again! He thinks of it as going out on a high! Would you do that?

I was 40 and thought we would win nothing major in my lifetime. When you consider we had won nothing major up till then. The LC was not highly rated when we won in 64 though of course happy to be on our list of honours.  The fact we have won so much since is beyond my dreams
