Corky Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 We could play with a quick tempo and aggression if we had a manager that believed in it.

Frank isn't the best but he seems to have instilled a bit of determination in that team. They do the minimum which is fight, with some grit and determination where the tactics are missing 1

Haywood_6 Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Everton's midfield has a lot more steel with Onana and Idrissa Gueye

No match during this period has seen seven or eight goals scored by one side, and one was where we scored nine, of course. I would get too smug. We're on course to be the worst ever premier league side!
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Don't think Everton are going to face a relegation battle, the team starting to gel together........or is it they are playing their nemesis

Corky Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 I don't rate Lampard particularly as a manager but you listen to him speak with enthusiasm and commitment and you just wish we had that from the coach, 1

StanSP Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 You can tell how much Mane helped this side. The midfield is obliterated with no Henderson or Thiago, but they look a shadow of themselves. Mane gave them so much in the final third but also a bit deeper in terms of their press and energy. I'm all for it, but the difference from last season to this is staggering.
Corky Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Pictures and commentary sync absolutely ****ed.

Rogers seems to have only one mode, the happy clapper 2

Jattdogg Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Big point for everton. Pickford has been immense.
Corky Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Good game. Normally this is toss but that was entertaining.

RowlattsFox Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Everton have played with energy which you'd expect in a derby but they didn't show too much quality.
lcfcsnow Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Forest teams rubbish considering how much they’ve spent, get the impression Cooper didn’t want half of them either. And of all the times to change to a back five at home to Bournemouth
