Think its a good idea, we'd obviously get a share of ticket sales whilst demonstrating what can actually be achieved by going into administration. Bit of rubbing salt into wounds.

I think this would go down like a lead balloon with the Fans but come on it’s coming from the Sun so unbelievable, I had to re look at the Date to see if it was April 1st !!

In some ways it might be amusing to have them as our bitches and to be able to lord it over them as their saviours but on the hand, no.  Just no.

Send them to Coventry

It's already a rugby stadium with a football club tagging on. That'll be 3 clubs sharing unless Cov get kicked out (probably not as they are now higher status).

This could work for them, just have a reversible Notts/Derby plank next to County, same colours....job done.

Wouldn't they have to play home games on the same day as Forest

Horrific memory of Paul Mace championing that one. Something about creating a 'Super Stadium' for the two clubs when in reality it was just a case of putting in green seats. At the time Tigers were in the asendency with City struggling on and off the pitch. Even worse some of our fan base were actually in favour :@  Had that gone ahead then Vichai would've most likely have looked elsewhere and we wouldn't have lived through our golden era.

Thankfully it never happened and should never, ever be proposed again.

I can’t remember why this never happened in the end, was it fan opposition to it? Or was it something else? I seem to have a vague memory of our league rules meant that we’d have to have priority on fixture clashes. Ether way it was a terrible idea and was a move that tigers would have used to try and take control.

Why not Notts County

I guess they clash with Forest. So there would be three teams playing in the same city (same as Leicester with Tigers). So neither really work.

...can't agree!!!

Why not go to Forest, or have they turned them down  already.  I would surmise no Forest supporters will be looking to endorse this agreement. I would suppose us, due to the size of our stadia, but when it comes down to it, it is Derby and there is too much history between the two.
