That half time tunnel look at Newcastle. Anyone got it?  It's a moment. Proper part of our history that. The personification of imposter syndrome being laid bare.

He knew it. We fans knew it. Our players knew it. Newcastle's players and staff knew it.

He reminds me of the fat bloke in the Shawshank Redemption who starts crying on his first night in the cells and gets filled in by the guards for it and then dies.

Actually laughing out loud at this one lol well done.

Wrexham are keen on departing Leicester City goalkeeper Danny Ward, according to journalist Alan Nixon on his Patreon page.
Wrexham are interested in luring the stopper to the Racecourse Ground this summer. They are preparing for life in the Championship following their promotion from League One.

Ward, 31, made five appearances for Leicester City this past season, two of which came in the Premier League. He will officially become a free agent at the end of the month.

In this latest update regarding his situation by reporter Nixon on Patreon, he has emerged on the radar of the Red Dragons. He will be weighing up his options at this moment in time.

Ward was handed an extension at the King Power Stadium back in 2021 running until 2025 and said at the time, as per Sky Sports: “I had a really good feeling the first time around when I signed and, luckily, we’ve been able to grow together as a club and as a team so I’m really excited for what lies ahead.

“Even in my short time here, you can see in terms of facilities alone, the step up has been incredible. Step by step, we’re going in the right direction and, as a player, to be involved in that is really exciting.”

He has a lot of experience and is a Wales international with 44 caps to his name. He started out in the academy of the Red Dragons but never played for their first-team.

Instead, he was loaned out to Tamworth to get some experience under his belt. The ‘keeper then headed out of the exit door in 2012 to join Liverpool and has since played over 100 games in his career to date.

Will Wrexham be able to sign Leicester City’s Danny Ward?
Ward is likely to be on big wages following his time in the top flight at Leicester City. Nevertheless, Wrexham won’t have to pay a transfer fee to get him.

The Wrexham-born man played three times for Liverpool’s first-team. He was also loaned out from Anfield to Morecambe, Aberdeen and Huddersfield Town to boost his development.

The Foxes came calling in 2018 and he has since made 52 outings. He helped them win the FA Cup back in 2021 under Brendan Rodgers and the Championship title 12 months ago under Enzo Maresca.

Got to be one of the luckiest players of all time as far as clubs willing to pay him high wages.  Great move for him.

Difference is they will probably see him play 3 games realise he is utter dog sh** and then cut his contract up instead of letting him sit around for 15 years

Just a baseless hunch but I think he’ll do alright.
