Almost as if Ndidi being out for months has affected Tielemans’ performances, being forced to cover two roles

....that has not been the case!!!

With or without Ndidi Tielemans has been poor.

Its bound to happen. Both sides can’t miss an opportunity to wind the other up.

Both sides should enjoy their side winning and playing pretty well. Irregardless of what they think of the current manager. That is after all what you pay your ticket money for.

Officially now staying up! Get in. 😁

Seriously though. A good win and excellent 2nd half performance. Shows we can play a bit.

Norwich are shockingly bad though.

You look at the table and see Wolves and West Ham and have to say if we hadn't thrown away needless points late on vs Newcastle,  Everton away and Spurs at home just maybe wed be playing ECL next year

I think a clean slate sets us up better tbh

dont really follow this clean slate stuff, why would we want to avoid playing europe for a season just so we can have a better chance of playing in europe?

Second half we were back to our old ways. Amazing what a win can do for the body language on the pitch. We looked much more fluid when we went a goal up and more positive passing. Mendy looked very tidy when he came on. Vardy sharper and barnes more direct second half. Maddison had a good game  both full backs much better.

Different dynamic now, nobody goes into the season wanting to be back in the conference league, Europa is the minimum we should be aiming for else that standards have dropped

About 3 weeks ago at Old Trafford (1.9). lol

That doesn't surprise me lol

Probably the two teams underperforming the most in the league, but getting by on pure ability haha

Added time becomes more and more of a joke each week.

3 subs and 3 goals gets you 1 minute, we've seen 4/5 minutes regularly for the same

I think the ref knew it was over with it at 3 nil, so just blew up really

It’s Norwich, let’s not get carried away and name Vardy as the messiah, just like losing 1-0 away in Roma isn’t worth firing the manager over

Errr, have you SEEN the "Vardyism" thread? lol

Must win. Did win. Amazing what a lucky break can do. Kind of feel that we haven’t had many of those this season.

There is difference between throwing something away and storing it in a black bag next to your dustbin on collection day-

However, we beat Norwich and JV scoring goals.  Woo Hoo

That was a genuinely funny night. So thanks

First we had Big Dan being done by Pukki. That was worth the entrance fee alone!

Then we had the doom and gloom of half time even though Gunn had had his best 45 mins of the season

And to top it all, we had good old Wortho calling me negative ‘Oxford City’ fan? Negative tonight? No…

But where ‘Oxford City’ game from, God only knows

FT can be a funny ol place

Moving back to the real world, there were some really good signs tonight albeit against a dreadful Norwich side. It was three, could have been 6 or 7.

Tielemans was lovely to watch, Vardy is STILL our only real top class striker and Madders and KDH looked great

On the negative side.. we could have easily conceded two or three against a team who have scored sod all, all season. If it wasn’t for the current scapegoat, Kasper, we’d have gone in goals down. Defensively in the first half yet again we were wide open.

Rodgers will once again become fine on here (until the next loss) and we move on.

All in all, a smashing night. Even my bet came in

👍
