how the bloody hell is leicester 10th? lol the league is pretty poor quality if you take away the top 3

That’s why I said if we had any sort of defence this season we’d have been top 6 or 7

I’m being genuine an all

Could get better, 8th is on, and we could finish just behind the amazing West Ham and elite super six.

It's been this shit for ages tbf, think of our last two collapses and we still finished 5th

oh, we won

yay

The most fun I had tonight was collectively raising my palms to the heavens with a Norwich fan when Pukki hit the post and then Tielemans somehow didn't roll it into our own net. Solidarity at our shared crap-ness. lol

Oh, and celebrating cleared corners like we'd scored a goal. :scarf:

This whole season is a sh*tpost. Might as well have a laugh.

Steady on, Wolves have got to play that shower of manure we’ve just spanked. Should they do what they should we would need 3/3 wins 😜

Credit to Angus Gunn who conceded six less that the last time he faced us. Actually, he was superb in the first half.

I thought that was decent of Madders to show respect to his former club after putting our third away.

Christ our support was shite tonight.

When was the last time Norwich had an xG of 1.4+

Tells us exactly what we know from the 'eye test' doesn't it. Defensively we're a shambles and were very lucky not to have conceded tonight. Going forward, we can be sublime. Lots of work needed in the summer to get the defence sorted, get a reliable backup for Ndidi, and find some balance to the side.

That was a nice second half to watch, though. Really pleased we saw it through.

All those that said they wouldn't go (STH) shame on you. Was pretty empty today. Not sure we need this expansion with some of our fans bailing when things get a bit tough. Also not to labour the point but flipping hell, the amount of people leaving at 85 minutes was crazy.

The match

Great second half, started to play the way we know we can. Shame we took our foot off the gas at 3. I still don't understand why Youri is playing unless he's still not sure if he's going ot not? Why not play some of the youngsters? Apart from Youri I think everyone did quite well. Timmy was excellent today. Vardy showing signs of pre injury, Madders made some good moves, Kasper had a few good saves. Amartey only messed up twice (which is an improvement) :D

Barnes first half was very poor again but a bit better second half. I didn't like his body language in the first, reminded me of a spoilt brat.

The change for Mendy changed our game. Well done BR, credit where credit is due. Yes it's only Norwich but it was "only" Everton and we all know what happened against them

Glad we won eventually but it changes absoutely nothing.

Agree…

they had 2 very good chances that should have yielded goals, on another day another team takes those chances.

I mean we were decent but I definitely would not use the word sublime for any of our last few months of games. We can be yes but not today or lately.

There was a deleted thread about a toxic atmosphere, but the fans have every right to complain about our recent form.

Good performance in the end from the team, Norwich aren't the best team to see where we are though.

You can tell Rodgers needed a result, no Daka, Soumare or giving young players a chance, which is what end of season dead rubbers should be used for.

Start of next season will be massive, get off to a bad start and Top will 100% pull the trigger.

Also if we didn't already know, Mendy has to be kept at the club.

What happened to you, Strider? All this is is missing is 'I want him out of MY CLUB'...

Daniel Amartey had absolutely no interest in being part of a back and forth laborious defence tonight, he got the ball and constantly looked to get it forward either on the deck in a short to medium forward pass or if thst wasn't on he'd go long rather than incessantly recycle the ball and at times we need that fast play.

Got the job done, great to see Vardy back in the goals just a shame a man of his calibre hasn't more hattricks to his name here. Barnes very good 2nd half and was helping out defensively too which I know really bothers many of our fans.

Now let's try and get at least another 2 wins before this pretty horrid season draws to a close.

To be fair, that’s true. Coming forward Amartey was far more positive tonight. Rodgers has probably told him to do that I’d imagine

Defensively though.. Christ on a bike! For their first chance neither Evans nor Amartey were anywhere near it! They were miles away

Let's all hope that Vardy is spending every minute in training working with Daka on his movement off the ball. He really is a master -  2 great examples of his craft led to his goals today.
