If that is Loftus-Cheeks choice he's got some brass neck considering where he's been on loan lately.

Not about us. more down to money and the slight chance to be involved in success

Under normal circumstances i'd take Colwill and Hudson-Odoi plus say £60m for Fofana.

But Colwill will probably have a buy-back clause and Hudson-Odoi is on a massive wage. That's without going into the fact that we don't have extra space in the squad as is.

Well, in any event we have all the leverage with Fofana. He can't pout for five years. I doubt we would agree to a buyback, and we could force Chelsea to pay the difference in the contract for the next two years, if need be. If the fee is high enough, then we don't have to nickel-and-dime clubs on transfer fees/loan arrangements.

But as they say, I am relaxed. The club actually holds the biggest hand -- that five year contract - and it is very interesting that Chelsea has many cards we want right now, and they don't mind giving away.

If we could get 60m + Colwill on a permanent deal and Hudson-Odoi on loan with an option to buy, I'd be quite happy with the business. Especially if Chelsea cover some of the wages. Maybe even Gallagher on a year's loan as well (in case of last minute bids for Tielemans or an increased bid for Maddison).

Shame to lose a generational talent, but that's where we are in the football food chain.

I doubt anyone has asked the question would Colwill want to come to Leicester?

Pretty much all of the gems we’ve unearthed over the last few years have been players wanting to leave their ‘smaller’ respective clubs to play in the Premiership

It’s a completely different situation with Colwill. He’s a product of the Chelsea academy and would probably think he’s got half a chance of breaking through at his boyhood club, at some point.

Would the desire be there to perform at top level for LCFC?

I dunno, but this feels very different to previous very good young players the club has recruited

The other players have to want to come to us though - even for a loan.

Guehi maybe. But Palace is London.

Tomori to Milan (no brainer)

Is Leicester a draw at the moment?

As I said, I dunno but the player will have some say over if he moves or not.

Pay the £85m up front or piss off I say. Our squad is already too big so we can't accept any kind of swap deals.

Squad size doesn't really apply to a 19 year old as he doesn't take up a place. Ofcourse he will have good wages but so will anyone that we get to replace Wes, unless ofcourse you're suggesting we don't replace him?

Is it a no brainer? Pretty big move to go abroad and back yourself to settle in a foreign country as well as on the pitch. Also your point was related to having an affiliation and becoming a sure thing at Chelsea which neither of those two decided to do, regardless of their new clubs. As pointed out by @orangecity23 there's other examples as well, Livramento and Lamptey are decent comparisons.

“Hey Leicester, do you like money?”

”Sure, why?”

”No reason”

BREAKING!! Leicester desperate to sell Fofana to Chelsea

It's not rocket science that Fofana would like to move to a club like Chelsea. I reckon anyone of our squad would fancy that move. Until the Yank coughs up many dollar bills though, it's a moot point.

Unless you know what Colwill’s motives are (which of course you don’t), it’s a non argument anyway.

Colwill isn’t any of those other players. Who knows? Those others might have been more than happy to leave Chelsea? Maybe the contracts were right? And he will have some say on whether he moves from Chelsea and if so who he joins.

I don’t see Leicester as being the attractive proposition it was.

This thread is full of 60,70,80 million quid plus Colwill. As if anyone knows him.

He might not be interested in the slightest.

Or he might be super interested. You don’t know either.

Considering it’s us, Southampton and Brighton who are most interested in him – I think we seem like an attractive option.
