South Shire Fox Posted 1 August 2022 Posted 1 August 2022 If Chelsea want any chance of getting Fofana then Colwill has to be involved in the deal surely 2

He can and has played at CB in a back 3 which adds a desirable level of versatility which makes him attractive to Chelsea. He can compete with and cover Chilwell, whilst also being able to cover at the back if there's an injury. Which helps massively with their CB situation.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 1 August 2022 Posted 1 August 2022 Surely we're pricing them out of a Fofana deal so they're turning their attention to Cucurella?

When it works it's like having all the advantages of 3 at the back with defending, with all of the advantages of 2 when attacking. Plus he could always deputise for Chilwell who had a very serious injury. I could see why they would be in for him. 3

It'd be mad to sign such a talented player with the idea of having him as cover in my eyes. I can only assume he'll be a regular there. Brighton would be mad to let him go for so little as well, unless he's only got a year left on his contract?

ARM1968 Posted 2 August 2022 Posted 2 August 2022 Fofana? A generational talent? Colwill + £45 million? In the words of Axl Foley - Get the **** outta here. 3
Deeg67 Posted 2 August 2022 Posted 2 August 2022 I'm hearing Colwill to Brighton as part of the Cucurella deal is a real possibility.

Lambert09 Posted 2 August 2022 Posted 2 August 2022 (edited) dammmmn it looks like chelsea are trying to move on sarr now, which could mean they hang on to him. Wouldn’t complain at all if we went for sarr though Edited 2 August 2022 by Lambert09

He wants to go, but Chelsea hasn't agreed yet, at least according to a bunch of news reports. But maybe he will be on the same plane as Soumare!

Chelsea fans think Sarr's s**t, Regarding Colwill he injured st the moment ant probably need another 1 or 2 seasons on loan to a championship side
SecretPro Posted 2 August 2022 Posted 2 August 2022 Don't really get the hype with Colwill. Him being muted as a Wes replacement is laughable really. 4
