I'm not sure but if they do still get Youri, they definately won't still be chasing Aouar so hopefully that leaves us with a clear run at him.

Very true mate, every cloud and that aha.

Well that seems more like arsenal out the running for youri. Could this mean he might end up at united, or even Chelsea perhaps? Can’t see him leaving the prem to be honest.

Looks like the materials for our re-build are stuck in Wickes depot.

We were never paying £35m for an ACM so not arsed, my only concern is that they are no longer in for Tielemans even though they are evidently slightly different in their skillset.

They've just got Bissouma so I doubt it.

Would whether Youri will end up staying. Not sure whether that would be good or bad.

It will be a mixture of bad - bad - and  errrr... bad imho.

He plays pretty much as he has for the last few months then leaves on a free..

Thats the opposite of good.

Apparently getting 130k/ week at Arsenal.

And people say our wage bill is out of control...

Don't think that's very far off what we would have offered him if he re-signed with us.

...and that would have been pushing the boundaries!!!

We have a catch 22 scenario at this club, right at this minute.

We need to generate more income and one way of doing so is by expanding the stadium. There however is a cost for doing so and that becomes loans taken out for that project, as against financing an influx of players. The ratio of wages to Income puts us at the moment, on the cusp of the FFP threshold. Paying  competitive wages, then becomes a problem,  because we haven't  the revenue coming in to reduce the ratio, and the way to increase the revenue is to expand the stadium.

It would be bad. He needs to leave for all parties concerned. Otherwise he'll have another average season then leave on a free transfer.

Apparently they're still in for Tielemans. I don't get it, but Arsenal have always liked having a thousand midfielders, so 🤷🏻‍♂️

It is.

Our t/over is half of arsenal’s

Players will move to English clubs for that salary and not worry too much about game time - their first duty is to their family

it’s the food chain and whilst we actually pay above our size we don’t get anywhere near what the big six clubs can offer

This is why a slice of pizza at the Emirates costs UKP 18.
