I like Mendy. He is a good squad player. Plenty worse than he is who should be shipped out before him frankly. I guess it’s just difficult selling your mouldering shite. For the money I would keep him.

He is great for recycling the ball and keeping it moving around in the middle of the pitch and that is about it

He doesn’t tackle, intercept, create, or really carry/progress the ball forward at all

When we're in possession he's brilliant and just keeping it ticking like you said. But we have plenty for that, think if available he could be moved on. Especially if we're keeping Soumare

Today’s mouldering shite yesterday’s “tie him down on a 4 year deal at 90k a week in case we lose him” - bloody football finances

He's done ok for us but he's a very limited player, if Soumare is still around next season he'll be our back up for Ndidi.

Soumare should be able to play that role to a higher level. Even though he had an underwhelming first season.

Well, partially true. Some is just mouldering shite though. We all knew it, but those doing the deals seemed not to. Ahh well.

He's not a bad player to fill in when needed however he clearly doesn't want to sit on the bench and it also frees up valuable funds for the club.

Hopefully he's got room in his car for Hamza, Perez & Co.

For those saying no one has changed it since his last loan move, he's the only one with a black and white pic, plus that's last season's kit.

Yes, I am sad enough to have checked everyone's profile.

And you're sure, absolutely sure, that Vesty wasn't in black and white and wearing last seasons kit? 🙏

How dare you already forget his creative midfield masterclass at Derby County last weekend.

If only he did it more than once or twice every few years lol

He's been incredibly expensive for somebody that doesn't do anything. Nealty recycling the ball earns him so much praise on here but he's not good enough defensively and literally just makes safe passes.

Started 58 league games in 5 years cost something like £13m and we've probably paid him £15m in wages. These are the signings that have contributed to us being in the situation we're in, he's likeable chap but he's been a waste.

How unsurprising.

After his midfield creative masterclass against Derby, of course he’s sticking around.

I have it on good authority that Rodgers will play him as a CAM against Sevilla.

Everyone focusing on Vestergaard when Bertrand is the really rancid one.

Vestergaard is not up to standard true but with Bertrand you'd genuinely be better off playing with 10.

The most underrated defender in the club’s history Sean St Ledger is very well, thanks for asking 👍🏻

If Soumare is Ndidi’s back up this season, then bloody hell we do genuinely have very little aspirations of kicking on.

Soumare is NOT a DM.

Without being over dramatic, I worry about Wilf being fit all season as doesn’t seem to have achieved that feat in years….#WelcomeSangare (one can dream)
