I think we've missed our chance now. Titles like those don't come around very often! Probably more chance of us winning the champions league!

Don't be so sure!! Many of them will play as close to the 90 as possible and we have the best part of 30 first team players so I'll pierce my own bum cheeks together with a kebab skewer if a load of them are left out in favour of our academy players. Won't happen.

A few takeaways:

- Anybody else get the feeling that 2nd half team looked like the first choice except for Tielemans and Castange? We know Tielemans has a foot out the door, but makes me wonder if there is more to the Castagne rumours???

- The look on Fofana's face when he went down from that challenge... Saw the season flash before our eyes! Best moment of the game was when he put his boot back on and carried on.

- As others have said: we gave game time to 21 players, but no Nacho, Ndidi, Hamza, Kasper, Betrand and no youth team players - we have a very bloated squad and really need to get rid of some players!

- There was some champagne stuff going forwards for the first 20 mins of the 2nd half, but we all know we are a different side when we have the option of the ball over the top to Vardy stretching defences and keeping them guessing: we've scored 8 goals in pre season and I think 6 of those have come in the 2 halves Vardy has been on the pitch. At some point we are going to have to start learning how to score goals without him on the pitch!

But pre-season is about building game by game, and that was a real step up from what went before and some much needed positivity to reflect on!

Been in a zoom all evening so could only have  game on silent on my phone behind my computer! Consequently, didn’t really get to watch properly. My impression was we looked sharper and played with some intent and intensity. Hull looked poor, but we looked ‘improved’. Is that about right??

I was pretty speechless when we won the PL/FA Cup but this is a different level....
