Riccardo has become a player picking up a huge wage an us getting little in return. Add that to a list of many (some injured, some just rubbish). Good job Castagne did start as he needs the minutes now. 

To add to the sadness of him going off injured again, we look like we are now giving minutes to a player who wants to leave, whilst pushing Maddison out wide. Sigh...

I like our energy and endeavour. This new style could work well, but I think we need a player like Youri sat in the middle of the park to add a bit more composure. 
 

I like us though, we look good. Just a bit more match practice and we will be a decent aide this season. (Dare I say that).

No I just clicked on the squad yesterday and all played over 25 la liga games apart from one of the central defenders

Bit of a meh display so far TBH. I think this is the type of game where Ndidi isn't so good because he's a protector not a creator. Miss having Tielemans to start when we need to be creative.

 

Hope Ricardo's injury isn't too bad, but don't think we will see him start next week.

I think we will be lucky if he plays any 3 ganes in a row.  Hard to build considtsnce if bavk 4 are changing.  Frankly we have to sort cags out... we know theres a good guy in there.

Said it before and I'll say it again, Ndidi is a centre back playing in midfield.

 

We've wasted another pre-season not allowing him to adjust to the position. He's a 'good' CDM, but his passing ability will always hold him back - he could potentially be a world class CB.

 

If we had a CDM who could move the ball with one, two touch then we'd be a different side.

The GK, Navas, Rakitic, Corona, Lámela, Mir, and idk about their CBs with Kounde and Diego Carlos leaving this summer.

 

Potentially Torres and En-Nesyri, too but don’t watch them enough to know for sure.
