Hitesh Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 I'm only up for this if we sign another person with a double barrelled surname.

Stadt Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 He's a very good player and seemingly behind the worst of his injury problems. He's been good at his other loan spells so I'd be happy with this, good dribbler, passer and he's a unit. 4
Walshie is God Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 We have to try something, and frankly if he's willing to come here and fight then Get him in. Some people will never be happy and actually we need to realise we are not a great prospect right now, getting people in of quality is a lot tougher now than it was 6/12 months ago.
filbertway Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole unless it's a short term loan till the end of the season. We're in need of ability in other positions more than CM though to be honest. Even this season he's missed 2 months with a calf injury. 1

Rigga Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 RLC surely we can not go for him given all his injury problems.. but, that would be us tbh..
coolhandfox Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Good player makes sense If Youri is moving on in this window. 1

StanSP Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 He's played at RWB for Chelsea earlier this season. I imagine this is where Rodgers will play him.

If we did, then I wouldn't be signing a player that can't stay fit when we've already got a tonne of players that fit that description already. That'd be a very poor decision, we need to start steering clear of those unless we want be perpetually underperforming.
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 He's a good technical player. But I do wonder about motivation. His career is just floating by. But hey ho, he's still earning 90k a week.

Our midfield three had an atrocious game against Forest and KDH is injured. We could also play RLC as a wide midfielder or even a wingback when we switch to three at the back. 1

Until that calf injury the only time he has been out in the last 3 years was when he had Covid I wouldn’t say he is someone that can’t stay fit

UHDrive Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 I would take him all day long. He's fast, tall at 6'3 and can play across the back line into midfield which is something we don't have the ability with at present and we are so predictable defensively by not being able to switch full backs. Yes, he may cost money, but a loan to get through to staying in the prem would he ideal in the circumstances.
UHDrive Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Not sure if I'm allowed to screen and paste twitter comments but this is what a lot of Chelsea fans think of RLC potentially going to us.
Realist Guy In The Room Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 A 6ft 3in bag of shite. Don't wanna see this **** limping around Seagrave.
STUHILL Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 We actually get linked with him in every window, and it never comes to anything. I expect the same again.

Leicester_Loyal Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Would take him on loan until end of season, probably won't happen though. 1
nettle Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 I'd take him surely he's better than any midfielder we've got available at the minute
