I'm only up for this if we sign another person with a double barrelled surname.

Be careful what you wish for

He's a very good player and seemingly behind the worst of his injury problems. He's been good at his other loan spells so I'd be happy with this, good dribbler, passer and he's a unit.

We have to try something, and frankly if he's willing to come here and fight then Get him in.

Some people will never be happy and actually we need to realise we are not a great prospect right now, getting people in of quality is a lot tougher now than it was 6/12 months ago.

Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole unless it's a short term loan till the end of the season. We're in need of ability in other positions more than CM though to be honest.

Even this season he's missed 2 months with a calf injury.

Not if we are cash in on Youri and Praet this window.

If we did, then I wouldn't be signing a player that can't stay fit when we've already got a tonne of players that fit that description already. That'd be a very poor decision, we need to start steering clear of those unless we want be perpetually underperforming.

Our midfield three had an atrocious game against Forest and KDH is injured. We could also play RLC as a wide midfielder or even a wingback when we switch to three at the back.

I would if it was just a short-term loan to get us to the summer.

Until that calf injury the only time he has been out in the last 3 years was when he had Covid

I wouldn’t say he is someone that can’t stay fit

I would take him all day long. He's fast, tall at 6'3 and can play across the back line into midfield which is something we don't have the ability with at present and we are so predictable defensively by not being able to switch full backs. Yes, he may cost money, but a loan to get through to staying in the prem would he ideal in the circumstances.

Not sure if I'm allowed to screen and paste twitter comments but this is what a lot of Chelsea fans think of RLC potentially going to us.

We actually get linked with him in every window, and it never comes to anything.

I expect the same again.

let's hope so - we might be sh*t and heading in their direction be haven't quite gone full Everton yet
