He is a squad filler signing at best. A waste of wages when we are desperately in need of a good goalkeeper - a premier league standard keeper. Aside from the cb and the rw, adding another midfielder who may or may not adapt to Rodgers style is not the absolute priority.

When will we ever improve the first team. This is a signing that we used to laugh at. Other fans will genuinely be saying now, “that is such a Leicester signing”.

Please LCFC wake up!! You’re undoing years of progress.

Ok, no idea why you are being so defensive then. :dunno:

No defensiveness. I just don't understand you point given Pearson and his lot were clearly separate from those that oversaw youth signings / development

Tomorrow i will do a bit of a review of all the information I've compiled from my sources regarding him, (besides by own knowledge) and I'll write it out well.

One thing needs to be clear though, he's not coming here as a praet replacement. Not even the same position or style.

If he's here as a right winger then it will be a disaster.

Looks more like Maddison's position on the videos I saw.  If that's the case then why oh why are we signing squad players as he's not exactly taking Maddisons place. We need first team ready players. Maybe he can play wide but it doesn't seem his normal position. This seems a typical Rodgers signing take a CAM and play them wide. If we are going to take a punt on someone at least Bowler looks a no brainer for a few million.

I think he'd be used across the front line, rm, lm, cam and even as a false nine. He had relative success last year under sampaoli in these spots. I won't be happy if we ONLY sign him though

To put it this way, he's a player who drifts, he's not an out an out winger. He cuts inside a lot

His technique at crossing, shooting and passing as abysmal. He seldom gets good contact on the ball and is one of the worst long range shooters of any creative player I've seen in quite some time. He is neither a Maddison stand in or a Barnes or the elusive RW stand in either.

He is very good at running with the ball though and getting out of tight situations, can see why he was billed as the Moroccan Coutinho.

The board must hate Brendan at this point.

"Do you remember the Under disaster?"

"Yeah... why?"

"Do you like Morocco?"

"Yeah, alright for a holiday I guess."

"Great. Then welcome to your rebuild. Enjoy"

Newcastle is owned by a murderous regime

Man City is owned by a murderous regime

Forest's owner has attending court regarding bribery, match fixing and drug smuggling

Our new attacking midfielder killed someone in a car accident and settled it for 300,000 euros

Just give the league over to organised crime and be done with it

Fair enough, and it was in response to a statement lambasting our transfer business, which isn’t great, but it used Pearson’s era as a counter point to current struggles, perhaps it is valid. Just not a fan of naming managers as part of a transfer responsible group.  But it is perhaps me who got the wrong end of the stick on this!

This idea of signing “Damaged” or wayward players that Brendan likes is just a ridiculous way to conduct business. This lad is genuinely shit, I know some fans don’t like it when we judge players before they have played, but trust me, when we say this geezer is shite, he is shite. Josh Bowler would probably do a better job and he will cost around £5m to sign.

All Brendan will do is oversee some more hideous transfers, and then get sacked in a couple of weeks.

If we are signing this fella then it may just be as cover for a few areas and not as RW. Our RW target may not currently be attainable

we could see more 3 atb whenever Barnes is unavailable

if he doesn’t have the strength then unless he sticks out wide he will suffer the same fate as ghazal and diabate who became lost when they ventured out of that safe haven area and were swallowed up by the physicality of the league.

So if he’s crap and we have reservations about a signing, that’s a Brendan Rogers signing.

If he’s good and we are keen it’s a Rudders and Wheelan masterclass.

Brendan Rogers really is the forums new Wellens...

When I first glanced at this post I read that the Forest owner had been in court got burglary, and obviously the thought of that fat knacker breaking and entering made me laugh. If what you’ve said is true how the hell did he pass as a fit and proper person?!

This about sums it up for me. Like with the Stockport game - he fielded a strong team so he wasn’t giving youth a chance, and he was branded a coward (for wanting to win a game!). But you can bet if he’d have fielded 2-3 youth players he would have been accused of not taking it seriously.

I don’t really think we can point the blame at Brendan for the things going on ‘behind the scenes’, recruitment or contract situations. Modern day managers are coaches of the first team.
