Fofana has revealed that wing-back Reece James tried his best to move the deal along last month on Instagram.

'Reece James messaged me on Instagram one month ago: "You come and play with me at right-back?" I like this, it's good for my confidence. He's my guy now,' Fofana said

But there was nothing in following the Chelsea players on Insta

Find it hard to believe its only £69.5m and that's it. Especially if Whelan was involved.

Not a chance we haven't included extras, given his age and potential.

Rodgers does seem to get a lot of players take shots at him. Seem to recall Sterling and Dembele had their bust ups with him.

Wonder what goes on for that to happen?

What I don’t understand with a lot of our fans is the bitterness about carrying him through his broken leg. So what if we did?

It was in our best interest to nurse him back to health and sell him fully fit

If you’re trying to sell your house you repair the obvious flaws in it before selling to maximise the value. It’s no difference here at all. It makes us sound like children

Probably looked at his injury record and refused any more. They have a point , he could easily break down. The thing is Top appears to have been desperate for the money and Chelsea knew it.

That is a crap deal. A quarter of it to St Etienne as well.

A quarter of it now.  We'll be signing over the training ground to them shortly.

so basically i guess this will also split the fans now.

Those that are angry with the club will believe Ornstein those that aren't so angry will believe Percy.

So basically no one knows so stop trying to guess them. It really doesnt matter from a fans perspective.

so how much profit for him

17-18mil? lo l  what a shit business

Absolutely zero chance the fee is that low, Chelsea just want to play down how much they've paid and Ornstein is being a good little boy towing the line he's been given.

London journo saying Chelsea got a great deal. Leicester mouthpiece saying Leicester got a decent deal. Who to believe?

Both? Perhaps both clubs are happy with it.

Have a bit back Rodgers.

Walloped.

As I’ve said all along, I far from agree how’s he acted in this but I can’t blame him or any other player for wanting the leave in our current state - the statement is pretty damning and speaks volumes, fair play.

Well Ornstein saying £69.5 with no add-ons. Percy is saying £70 million with "substantial" easily achievable add-ons.

True. But a Journalist who wants to keep his professional contacts sweet, might well do that.
