Spot on by Piper and he's said exactly what many of us have been saying and thinking over the past few weeks. There has been too many people in the media and former players like Savage etc licking Brendans arse and buying into the ridiculous narrative he has been spinning, but Piper has seen through his bs and called him out and its about time more people in the media did the same. Too many are scared to speak the truth so full credit to Piper for doing that and actually speaking from the fans perspective rather than the Brendan loving media perspective

Leicester fans all over the world are hurting right now but this self-serving excuse for a manager cannot be allowed to bring our proud club down. We must get behind Top and the team but we cannot ignore the saboteur in the dugout. He deserves every bit of the vitriol that's coming his way if he fails to do the honourable thing before the game against Villa. Once rid of him ownership, new coach, players and fans will come together, we'll rise up the league and then rebuild for our next assault on the so called premier league elite,

He’s been brilliant on Radio Leicester; knowledgeable, engaging, funny, honest and a decent guy.

But I struggle with his “one of our own” stuff. He never made any point of it when he actually played for us and I seem to recall he was actually an Arsenal fan, is that right?

What he’s said on Rodgers over the past couple of days has been spot on - and I think there’s an element of anger there because he was hoodwinked into the Brendan PR with Stringer - but he loses authenticity for me when he talks about it always having been ‘his club’ since he was a boy, no matter how fond he might have grown of us as he’s matured.

It’s not a criticism, because overall I think we’re lucky to have him on local radio, but it just sometimes jars a little when I hear him laying it on.

I don’t see it that way at all. If we start being that granular about what constitutes a genuine fan nobody will qualify. Heck I was a naive Liverpool fan upto the age of 7 as I didn’t know better. Everyone in the belgrave area was back in the 70’s. Some have stayed Liverpool fans Inc my best friend but good for them. I came around to being loyal to my city my club of my own accord. Piper is a genuine fan in my book and a level headed media guy. I also like and respect arlo white for nbc sports.

anyway we are digressing! Eyes on the prize my friends; premiership survival

You are correct. Massive Arsenal fan growing up throughout our school years. Although in the times i have seen him since he does have a genuine love for Leicester.

Makes me laugh when people agree with a pundit "he's brilliant". A couple weeks later when they say something you don't like it's "he's a rubbish pundit".

Life is fickle these days I find. Loyalty has gone from the world.

Definitely feel bbc Leicester match day and the Monday forum has improved considerably since the stringer days, Jack Rafferty is decent as well.
I find  it so cringe with this ‘one of our own title’, also when they sing it to Barnes, chillwell etc. makes us sound like right inbred rednecks, in my opinion!

I’ve always liked Pipes, he’s got time for everyone and combines excellent inside football knowledge from being an honest ex pro with passion for the club he supports as well as an understanding of mental health and how the current situation affects players and fans. I know he’s said this is going to be his last year on the BBC but I hope it isn’t. His honest, measured thoughts are refreshing and clearly from the heart. I know it’s a cliché but when you listen to him, he is genuinely one of our own.

What will he do if not on radio Leicester?

It was only a couple of months ago at the end of last season they were shouting people down and hanging up on them if they criticised Rodgers

Yeah this. As soon as anti Rodgers was getting more likes on Twitter that's when it changed from him.
