She lived to a great age and lucky not to have suffered like a lot of folk when they get old.

Just said to my Wife, this is the first time we haven't had our queen, she pointed out it's the first time in our parents life they won't have a queen.

Absolute end of an era for GB and the Commonwealth. Sadly Charles, who will become King is already 73. Some of us will see the deaths of 2 reigning monarchs in their lifetime.

I’m not personally much of a monarchist, but 96 years old and 70 years of service has to be respected. 
 

The global outpouring of emotion when people thought it might be the end has been quite staggering, I think the next few days will prove just how popular she was across the world. 
 

Very historic day, and a sad one at that.
