Winner Surely a reversal of the fixture is total nonsense? Still need the coppers at the tubes etc for shepherding the footy fans when there may be upto a million people going for the pre- funeral days at the weekend. I'd find it absurd if that happened. moore_94 Posted 12 September 2022 Posted 12 September 2022 (edited) Arsenal vs PSV on Thursday has been cancelled because there isn't enough police available Really can't see our game happening Edited 12 September 2022 by moore_94

I guess some point today as clubs and PL officials are meeting or have met already. I expect some games to go ahead, and others not due to amount of police required at the ground. London-based games that require more police presence due to higher amount of fans attending will probably not go ahead in my opinion - I'd guess our game, Brentford and Chelsea games on Sunday won't go ahead.

As soon as the club got this week news, they were not very confident at all of this weekend going ahead. Puts Arsenal in a pickle though as UEFA won’t be fans of trying to reschedule
tickler28 Posted 12 September 2022 Posted 12 September 2022 Any chance that they could postpone the whole season....or cancel it? Please? Pretty please? Save us all the stress and anguish 1 2
Super Shinji Posted 12 September 2022 Posted 12 September 2022 Chelsea game on Sunday afternoon is off

Save us all the stress and anguish Absolutely agree. I happen to know that the Queen was a huge fan of LCFC and pictures of Vards and big Wes adorned both Balmoral and BuckPal. To play any more games would be disrespectful in the extreme. She’d been a big supporter of Brendan until he turned on the fans and Caglar. She maintained the belief that you never spill the beans in public, ever. 1

Guest Lcfc82 Posted 12 September 2022 Posted 12 September 2022 Arsenal vs PSV on Thursday is off so this game has got no chance of being on. Should of cancelled this round of fixtures instead of last weekend.
ozvaldo Posted 12 September 2022 Posted 12 September 2022 Really looking forward to being 6 points off Forest when we get smashed at Spurs and they inevitably beat whoever's up next for them.

CosbehFox Posted 12 September 2022 Posted 12 September 2022 I still don't see it being on - I can see this playing out as Spurs say its on - then by Wednesday or Thursday, it's off again
RowlattsFox Posted 12 September 2022 Posted 12 September 2022 (edited) I'd imagine PSV were bringing a few fans with them that probably require a fair bit of management, and that probably contributed. Our prawn sandwich brigade might not require as much police resources Assume the army at helping out in regards to crowd management? Edited 12 September 2022 by RowlattsFox

420Hashish Posted 12 September 2022 Posted 12 September 2022 Why not play 1 fixture behind closed doors until police become available?
Ric Flair Posted 12 September 2022 Posted 12 September 2022 This will be a thoroughly good hiding, 6 or 7 IMO 1
